This is the best phone in the world. 10/10
My suggestions to sony ericsson:
1) add flash light
2) make buttons a little bigger
3) make the phone in different colors MATT colors only and absolutely not glancy fingerprint magnet colors.
4) auto focus only if possible.

I have a W880i, I love the phone and all but, the speaker is dead. so I;m not too happy about that

Yes W880i is Compatible with 8GB M2 cards!!!!! when it releases
it is compatible with 4GB aswell

I've had mine since June now, and love it. I work in the mobile industry and have to test hundreds of mobiles a year, so I get to play with most. The fact that they have crammed 3g into such a small package and it all works so well is great. The camara performs very well although no light/flash and the small buttons are a bit inconvenient. The speaker quality is what I'd expect from such a slim unit.

hi I HAD A K700 and it also used to switch off when it felt like! Looks like a sony ericsson problem!

i found this phone rubbish and hard to use compared to my nokia e61i.
i have a 1gb card in the w880.
how do i format the memory card!!!
i cant find any options in the menu or settings.
stupid phone.
screens too small, cameras rubbish, buttons are girly. the only good thing about this phone are the headphones.

Just remember, although the internal memory is low it does accept M2 cards.

have had 4 of these phones and every one keeps switching off when it feels like it and cant hear any one on the phone aswell going to try the w580i now c whats that like better i hope

was wondering, ringtones for msg alerts dont last long right? or can it? can someone help as unlike nokia/moto sms ringtones last a few minutes. can it be prolonged?

track id is for u to identified the song that u hear without knowing the artist or song title. just press the button once like recording it and it will show u the song title and singer . it's fun ..but it require gprs or wap

I know the reason why many people say that this phone's sound quality is poor. I had a K750i and now I have this phone (W880i). This phone comes with the new headphones. The sound is terrible because of these headphones. I put the headphones from the K750i onto this one, and the sound can be compared to the sound from an ipod - very good. Only downfall of this phone is that it doesnt have a flash for the camera , and no radio, and the headphones are terrible. Otherwise an excellent durable phone
