Hi all. I just got my new W880 yesterday. Previously I had a W810. The first thing I love about this phone is that is SOOOO thin (almost half my old W880). It's very light too, I love that, as it does not buldge in my pocket. The screen is great too, very bright and clean, but a little small compared to other SE phones. The keys are not that hard to press, I've already get used to them and I've only used it for one day. The battery life is great. The new Walkman Player 2.0 is much better than 1.0, with more options and skins available. The camera is not it strongest point, but I don't care about it since I carry my 7.2 MP Sony Cybershot always. The voice quality during calls in very good. I've tested the Track ID and it works perfectly. And last but not least is an eye-catcher: all my friends are jealous of my phone lol.
Overall a good upgrade. I'll rate it 9.5/10 =)

Hi,
I am thinking of purchasing this phone.It looks really cool!! But I'm confused whether i should get W850 or W880.Which has better specs. Any suggestions?!?

I have just received one as an upgrade from the K800i and I must say that I like the phone imensely. The K800 was very bulky compared to the previous phone I had, so it's nice to slip this in your pocket. The only downside I can see is the loudspeaker which makes all my ringtones sound tinny. However, this is a minor inconvenience compared to how rich all the other features are. It's a great walkman, a great phone and the chicks love it... what more can you ask for.
P.S. I would definitely recommend that you go for the silver one, as it doesn't show finger marks!

i purchased this handset woth tmobile, i have noticed that the fone switches off randomly and also when on charge the 3.6.9 and menu button glows orange, can anyone tell me if they have experienced this problem or if u just think its faulty?

This phone does not have much options , there is no keypad lock with password , operating system is not so good, very confusing , sound is not upto the mark ,only good thing in this phone is looks very silm

This phone does have Auto Keylock. Also struggled to find it. Go to Settings, General, Security.

a great slim phone from Sony.besides some limitations of the camera and flash, i would have liked to see an improvement in vibrator intensity,and higher volume on the ringtone.
Wonder why the convertor function has been excluded and needs to be downloaded from their site.

Just bought this phone yesterday! Fall in love with it. But this phone doesn't seem to have AUTO KEYPAD LOCK. Have to do it manually, quite troublesome.
Btw, the video playpack doesn't seem to tally with the background music and it doesn't go really smooth. I download a video from youtube. PLay it with my this phone. The music finishes even before the video completes. I tried with with my sister's LG phone, it plays the same video with perfect smoothness. WHY?? Is it something wrong with the software or the memory? BUt it's a new phone, nothing much inside yet.
-_-;;, other that this problem, This phone is overall a very stylo and good phone! Nah, the keypad is fine, isn't too small, you get used to it in a day.
