I've had this phone for 2 months and the olny way to describe it is SUPERB. Its got everything you could ask for in a phone.
Unlike some people it would seem on here, I don't read too much into a phone and all the specy jargon, i use my phones for texts, calls, videos, pictures and walkman. If you want performance for all of those things, get this phone.
!!Can't recommend it enough!!

I was just wondering if anyone knew why I can't zoom when trying to take a photo but can once photo taken - this is one factor I really liked about my W810 and am upgrading atm, please help.

i hav seen this phone only in pictures. and now i wanna hav it. i hav a se 550i. so i wanna hav a phone which should beat sew550i. kindly suggest..............

Got it as an upgrade, very slim and the keypad is very nice to use. Still can;t get over how slimline and light it is. definitely blows Nokia and Motorola out of the water.

Re voice dialling - hold the volume button for 3 sec (no matter up or down) then u will hear the beep. But I found that it will only works perfect with your headset - if on speaker phone, it seems that having difficulty recognizing your voice. A bit pain ~~~ but overall I give A++ (Excell3nce)!!!

The sexiest and slimmest 3G with 2 megapixels camera phone in the world today... the one and only SE-W880i... No doubt about it...
The second to it is the samsung z370...
No doubt about it...

No I disagree I think Nokia phones designs are getting worse each year so get a Sony Ericsson they have simple but stylish designs!

SE phones lack features seen on nokias but they never fail to impress costumers for it's qualitative attributes offered. you can have a nokia with loud speaker but SE has clearer implementation. nokia can have 10Mp + Carl-Zeiss but SE can have 5Mp Super HAD CCD sensor quality intelligence from Sony. Nokia can have all communications built in a small device but SE can always have it's counterpart in he form of add-on features/accessories without compromising the most essential thing; battery life. nokia can have 2000MaH Li-ion battery but SE can have 1500maH battery in lithium polymer type(which is proven better since K750) that's what we called quality over quantity.

The phone has lot of potential but I think S.E has to improve a lot like other Manufacturers, No Doubt speaker quality is the best when compared to many mobiles in the market,but many flaws like phone has 2MP without flash. SMS messages when enquired from the dealer can be stored up to 50-60. Keypad is so thin that it is irritating while dialing.

we can definitely feel the heat because of it's slimness, unlike in large phones in which heat were sucked by the large components of the device, the reason why in some phones we experience busted chips, ROMs or ICs which were not a new scenario in philippines's repair shops... Lol=D!!!

rite ive had the phone for about 2 weeks now an i cant find a light or a flash on the camera now that isnt very gud considerin its a £280 phone an very basic phones have them can anyone help me out here?

does anyone know how to get voice dialling to work on the w880i phone. i've recoreded the name against a contact, but how do i do the actual voice dialling?
