perfect! sempurna! new face of W950i . better software performance. but i do still keep my old P990i. un-beatable even comparing to G900 with 5MP camera.

and btw LOL comparing the performance of a java w850 against a smartphone N95 is a STUPID argument. of course the java phone wins. java phones dont need as high proccessors

hey guys, i have bought W960i in jan this year but i have still not updated to the latest firmwire because i read somewhere that the camera stops working then, have sony ericcson solved the problem so that i update my firmwire or is it still the same,, please advice, thanks alot,.

Damn dani man.thats so identical.wat coincidence.man that k700 wasnt so special in specs but u wouldnt believe how many ppl were converted to sony ericssonism bcoz of it.
Anyways i cant stay long.i gotta go walkman myself to sleep.peace y'all

Man.you revenant read my mind man.im serious.i was just thinkin d xact same thing.i dont care if nokia is almost as gud in music quality if u can only use it for such a limited time.when wid SE i can listen to music for 2 days before thinkin of chargin d phone.i mean cellphones r primarily made 4 emergencies,so wats d point of havin one that dies on u whem u need em d most.i mean an n95 and n96 have to b charged everyday.
And dont tell me that nokias are faster coz The difference in processors arent that huge plus they work just fine.even my w850 which doesnt hav a fancy processor and its in noway slow or laggy.
Like same with display,nokia is supposed to hav some fancier displays an SE r inferior but im reality SE displays functions much better at all times and looks better 2.
Plus SE handsets r much more durable thats worth a lot.
And keypads,SE r much better,im writin all this wid ma phone and it dont take me 2 long.i tried typin on n70,n73 & n81 they all hav these cheap feelin flat buttons wid 0 feedback.another win.
Another plus is SE usually send u a proper package wid d phones.my w850 comes wid a 1gb memory card and pretty good headphones and av music connection.plus standard all phones stuff like charger,cd,usb.when was the last time nokia sent a proper package.they always send 32mb or 64mb or when theyre really generous they send u a 256.or they just send u a note that says get ur own dang memory.and the headphones r very inferior.i mean i said the n81 sounded pretty good but thats with my sony awesome headphones.
Cmon admit it nokia always make u buy everything while SE at least give u the necessities ull definitely need to make the best of ur phone.
All that is why we say SE is king.
A perfect combination.
There u have it.its no secret.u know it as much as i do.most nokia fans just dont admit it coz they already paid so much for their new phones

yeah alot of nokia handsets do look similar. so do SE's, but who really cares.
if anyone's that bothered about image and want a clever phone they should just buy an iphone!
and yes a sony ericsson would last longer than a nokia when continously playing music (although that n81 vs w960 test suggests otherwise).
but the thing is, my nokia n95 has a 950mah battery yet this has a 930mah battery so it isnt as if nokia are supplying poor batteries. i mean the n95 8gb has a 1200mah one. whats eating the power up?
i dno, i just like the fact my phone does more, and more quickly. i also love the camera abilities.

Of course you do - you're a fanboy. Just look at the N96. And the N81. And the N78. And then people put SE down for using similar designs. These nokias are almost IDENTICAL!
And it's perfectly fair to compare SE's performance to Nokias because when we do so, it's the performance of their smartphones that most people are talking about.
As for the battery life - even using only the music player, 3 hours of playback on a Nokia will drain the battery significantly more than 3 hours of playback on a SE. And don't blame the processor because the marginal difference in speed is disproportionate to loss of battery life - it's not worth the trade-off...

hey hey, the c905 does NOT beat nokia at specs.
it isnt even a smartphone, the wifi is inferior and it still doesnt use universal ports. oh yeah 3D acceleration and VGA video make the current n82 better.
and btw its not fair saying SE's give better performance because the vast majority are JAVA based and lets face it, you have to do a horrendous job to produce a slow java phone.
also battery performance and stuff, of course it is going to be worst. nokia use higher capacity batteries in 95% of their phones but because nokias do more and have faster clocking proccessors, they do consume more power.
im sorry i just think it is a lost cause arguing SE is better. just look at N96. gorgeous.

The only things that might put you off are 1: the touch screen - I know a lot of people don't like touch UI's, but if you do then that won't bother you, and 2: The flash for the camera. If you're gonna use your phone as a substitute for a standalone camera then this might not be the best idea, simply because the dual LED flash simply can't compare to a xenon flash, but the picture quality when taken in decent light is pretty good. I've had no real problems with it and I'm very happy with my decision. I'm sure you will be too...

Plus dude Nokia always beats SE in specs but SE always beats nokia in performance.
And now with the c905 SE beat at specs too.
Plus think about it Sony has been making walkmans and cd players and music devices from the day i was born.And it was always the leading brand.
And cybershot.its always been and still is the leading brand in digital cameras.
so these xperiences are all incorporated into th SE phones making them a machine of pure quality and performance.and u know it.
This is how SE competes with nokia and Leaves it way behind.
I rest my case.Both history and personal experience i can back this up 100%

i do agree with revenant.I too was a nokia user.And an extreme one too.I coudnt even stand SEs.But i wasnt too much into phones to begin with.But 3 years ago i got the 3230 when it was just released.before it was available in the market.It was one of the best phones if not the best phone released back then.My friend on the other hand my friend had a k700.& even tho its older,cheaper and 3230 can beat it in every aspect and every spec.But i always loved using his phone...
Then SE got me obsessed about phones.I really started followin up whats released and wats new and whats coming soon..And i got to know almost all the new technologies and how they work and what theyre used for.Long story short i know about phones.Next stop i got the W850.I became a SE fan long before i it tho.and honestly im more than happy about my decision.I never looked back.Never considered buyin a nokia again.now im plannin to buy w960 and my cousin was with me a coupla days ago and he got the N81.I do admit its a great phone and the music quality is almost as good as the w960.But offcourse the w960 has a music player 10000 times better than n81.Plus for a less price u get 3.2 mp camera and touch screen.And a SE walkman offcourse.
I do think that nokia fans especially the ones that come to this forum are like nazis :- "we are the supreme race all other brands should fry" Muhahahhaahaa

I think thats becoz theyre not very satisfied with what they have and they want more.On the other hand we SE fans are happy with what we have so we just discuss them.
i mean i admit that i liked the n81 its a fine phone this made me think of gettin one for a split second.But again that was only becoz i was havin my doubts about the w960.
But w960 is still a better phone.
I really hop nokia fans stop bein such nazis or else i can always shut em up..
