wanted to know if someone could please help me with a question i have. I want to know if there is any way to get office document viewer on this phone? I know that it doesn't come with the phone but maybe there is an app or software that can install it on the phone. Please if any one knows respond to my question, i really want this phone but i need to be able to see emails and documents that are sent to me on my phone.

I just not into slide up / flip-top phones. Media quality and other features are great but slide ups usually loosen up easily. I just don't like my phone wobbling.. Would rather go for SE's bar type phones ^_^ I just hope they would make a bar type having the same Media quality and other specs as this phone... ^_^

In Dubai the price of Aino is exactly the same as W 995.
does that mean that W995 is better than Aino.
my point is that Aino has new features than W995 touch screen, big screen,new OS, etc...
so they must have downgraded something in Aino in order to make it the same price as W995.
isn't that the usual stragtegy of SE?
any1 can recommend which one to go for.
there are no much reviews about Aino, also its rate in alatest isn't going up , while satio yends to up, while aino is either stable or going down

Arak, 20 Oct 2009some people are confused to choose between w995 and aino i... moreyeah!! i'm on that boat =) can't decide yet between aino and w995, since aino has larger screen and i'm waiting for news if we can browse via touch instead of the keypad on aino. browsing via touch is easier and texting using keypads is comfortable

i tried to just ignore my wobbly slider but after 3 days of being annoyed by the movement i did get the handset swapped and the new one is perfect.
contact your customer service team or store and have it exchanged it will just annoy you no end like it did me.
There must just be some in batches that do this and should be swapped.

Hi all,
after several hours spent on this phone, I must say that I've never been more disappointed by any other phone.
But first, I have to say that I bought it because of the 'superior' walkmen capabilities and sound quality.
As for the last, I must say the sound is quite good.
however the walkman and other features are simply missing to meet any criteria.
There is very limited file management capabilities and menus, I find my previous SE W810 way more useful!!! Why ?
- you want to set a ringtone ! Guess what? there are no folders displayed, no ringtones whatsoever, I have to go through all 500 songs to find my ringtone... what the hell...
- no sort features in the new album and song list, you get the songs in the order .... no order , probably alphabetical but I was too pissed to check it.
- however its packed with useless features like Sense Me, since I found no mood near furious , I find it impractical
- camera, no comment - useless !!!
Could anyone please tell me why and how on earth, this piece of crap got this rating ?
I'm still searching and waiting for more disappointments .

I have an iPod NANo 8GB, but since i bought my W995 i have not used it ONCE. It's pointless, that's how much better the W995 is over my iPod. I've compared my W995 to Nokia's 5800 XM and N95 and I must say to me, the comparisson seemed like a joke. There was absolutely no competition.
This is only my own opinion from hands on experience. I am in no way an expert in audio quality and I have never tested any of these mp3 players with any software.

N i wana ask wats the diffe... moreHi NLX! Your slider count shows 0 because u probably dont have the latest firmware installed. My FW is R1GA026 and as far as I know this is the latest FW available. U can find out What FW u have in the same menu as the slider count under Software info. U can upgrade it freely using SE update service, depending in which country u are as it is not yet available everywhere. I have upgraded mine and I must say I am a little disappointed. I am expecting a new upgrade soon because this version has a few bugs. For example:
-it doesn't allow me to select the mode i want to connect my phone to my pc, instead it automatically connects in media transfer mode.
-I have had a few problems as well with sync-ing my phone to my pc in PC Suite.
The improvements aren't all that major: the slider count works now, there is a slight improvement in the cam's image stabiliser (might be just my immagination though)and there is also a slight improvement in the media plyaing quality (but just a slight improvement, not that it actually needed any improvements in that department asa far as i'm concerned). So take into consideration these pros and cons I've noticed and then decide if u want to upgrade or not. As far as the Walkman 4.0 I couldn't give u an answer as this is my first W, I've been a cybershot fan up until now.
