Whereas SE W995 is designed to b something special in terms of music. Dis phone can definitely replace ur dedicated music player. It is desinged to be musicplayer+phone+decentcamera. N86 can never beat w995 in d first two segments bt its camera is a bit better than w995's. Bt don't worry, these phones are not designed to replace ur digital cameras. These are for handy purposes when u r nt craying ur camera. Dont expect too much from these phones' cameras. U can get a good camera for 8-10K, as nw they are cheap n wil give far better results than these phones. Coming back to the point, w995 can do al dat n86 can, wit better speed. I've used alot of nseries n i'm fate up wit slow gallery speeds. Both hav mineral glass that is stratch resistent to some extent. N86 has n-gage, bt believe me its no good, as it doesn't have any dedicated graphics chip like dat of N85. Don't give too much importance to multitasking..as it drains battery fast n reduces the risk of software malfunctionality, unless u hav a phone wit fast CPU like dat of samsung jet wit 800MHZ CPU. Both hav same size screen. N86 has 16M Color wit oled screen. Bt its sunlight visibility is very poor. Bt w995's screen is gud outdoors n indors. It has less colour display compared to N86 bt it is bright and very gud. The build quality of both of them is gud. Bt w995 feels solid in hand n really luks costly wit its brushed metal exterior...
So, if u wan smartphone then go for the N86. Bt mind u, w995 wil giv u better media experience wit its amazing sound. N86 don't even come close anywhere to w995's SQ. W995 can replace all those NANOs and CLASSICs from Steve Job's APPLE tree.

Mine last for 4.5 days(no surf net)
i very happy with the battery performance...(nonid 2 take charger wen camping)^^

Just recharging it for the first time for 16 hours, that way the battery will be excellent. I have had a go on it, and love it to bits, except for the above!!!!

Its an extremely excellent mobile to have and thats no lie,if you dont you should get it,you dont know what you missing out on.......

The only thing that the N86 beats the W995 is the camera function. If that is truly what you only care about, then go for the N86. In terms of appearance, build quality, stability, battery life, media player, the W995 is the winner.

Using phone and media player should last ~3-4 days but you'll need to cycle battery and shut OFF everything else!
You use internet so most likely you use 3G/wifi which sucks up battery life! Some people report ~1-2 days, if not shorter, before recharging!

Now it lasts between 4-5 days with excessive calls and texts each day, and moderate use of its apps. The applications are the major battery drainers in the first few weeks especially internet related ones.

If u want to stay along the cybershot line I recommend the c905, which has an amazing snapper, I was also a cybershot addict and was got a little disappointed by the w995 in this area. On the other han this handset has just about everything u could possibly ask for in a phone, media playing on it is just beyond what a cybershot could ever do an it's a lot more stylish than anycybershot will ever be. plus I've had mine 4 almost 3 months now and I can't complain about a loose slider (I've opened mine 402 times) or anything peeling off (everything on my handset is engraved). Hope that helps u take a decision.
