Making a LCD TV commercially available and making 1st LCD tv r two diff. things.
Morover, that guy said that Sony made World's 1st oled tv, not developed.

This gorgeous phone retails for PhP 26,500 ($612) here in PH, much cheaper than the PHP 32,000 ($740) price tag of the X10 when it debuted a year ago.

[deleted post]Hey Dude, you’re arguing with the wrong person. I never wrote anything about who is first etc.
But if you want to argue with me, you need your facts rights. And I couldn’t really care less who was first as all companies copy each other.
But, for your info, the first commercial camera phone was “The first commercial camera phone complete with infrastructure was the J-SH04, made by Sharp Corporation, had an integrated CCD and marketed from 2001 by J-Phone in Japan” Source : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Camera_phone
“The earliest commercially made LCD TV was the Casio TV-10 made in 1983” Source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LCD_television
Inventor of Oled is Eastman Kodak. Source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Organic_light-emitting_diode
As you can easily see so far, your so called facts are wrong. I personally find technology history interesting. If you want to argue about Sony, why not say some real great technology breakthroughs, like first Walkman, first mini disc etc. As you can see, I like facts and couldn’t care less which mobile phone is better or who invented what first. Samsung, Sony etc all copy each other’s technology and modify and improve it.

man, i don't know why u ppl r trying to rank this phone up or feel sorry sony ericsson. I tend to like sony ericsson, they used to make great and powerful and innovative phones in the past, and xperia X10 has like the MOST beutifull UI, but lately sony ericsson is really loosing it especially in smartphones. They don't make or have powerfull ties like HTC with qualcomm for cpu (hence no dual-core), they don't really invest any money on screens (sure this screen is said to be using bravia engine, but in reality all this is LCD on steroids with led backlight with lots of software tricks onboard, but not oled or retina), nice design but not very durable (least prototype wasn't), no real internal mem or lot of ram for future updates, cam engine nice but no real breakthrough like Nokia either, sound improved but no surround - they certainly don't copy Apple (a good thing), but they also don't seem to compete with other companies at all, but only with themselves...
It's almost as if ericsson is the exact OPPOSITE of SONY, ex: SE Play vs Sony NGP

[deleted post]Samsung's BADA is a huge copy of android and iOS & still sucks. While reviewing Bada phones Gsmarena said that android users won't have any problem using it bcoz it resembles android very much.
Oled(parent technology of super amoled/plus) was developed by Kodak.
X10 has camera flash. Open up ur eyes & check it out.
What samsung has of it's own ?
They too take android from google, processor & GPU from Arm and imagination technologies, designs from apple and many more things. Samsung hasn't developed anything till now.
They just utilize existing technologies.

[deleted post]I'm enjoying SE forum. But it's sammy fanboys who disturb this forum.
Nobody asked them to comment here and protect their samsung by their fanboyism. It's always samsung fanboys who start all this bashing. One can easily figure out that SE users on this forum r quite happy discussing abt SE only but when samsung fans try to ruin the pleasant atmosphere here than SE fans don't have any other choice rather than bash samsung too.

Just Bought my SE X Arc.. And when I showed it to my same officemate who just bought a Galaxy Tab, the more she got disappointed with her new gadget.. She said that aside from brightness and clarity, the Arc is snappier..
Way to go SE..

Recd mine a couple of days back. So far, i am more than happy. It is a great phone and everone seems very impressed with it. Only issue is i find photographs taken indoors with normal lighting( with or without flash) are not that great. While in outdoors and with bright lights you get fabulous photos, the same quality is not matched indoors. In fact the old Sony Ericsson C905 takes photo graphs inside. Anyone has an idea? Also, screen visibilty in outdoors is not very good

[deleted post]well, tav1 you really bash this phone for defense, but unfortunately your comment doesn't make sense. How on earth you would say the design of this phone is not original? i can't remember any other phone manufacturer create something that is thin in the middle and thick on the other sides and all i know iphone, samsung, lg all making phone that looks like a plain box with plain black color (well with little silver variant on the sides).
The silver color of this Arc is truly beautiful. Save for hardware, they are not other's 'copy', bear in mind, they only use the same manufacturer to manufacture the hardware inside which is what samsung, LG, HTC and other android phone makers are doing, but design is truly sony ericsson.

Great Design nice one by Sony.. i guess they wont give everything for this phone for their marketing strategy.. does not have a front cam for 2.3 Android flagship and low internal storage.. take note even if the phone has app2sd capability application still eats internal memory of the phone when you install it.. for design great job!.. but for feature i'll rather go for Experia Neo.. if only they put front cam and put atleast 1gb of internal memory this would have been an awesome phone by SE.. ^_^
