xperia arc is da great stylist phone ever made by se. U feel something special and uniq in ur hand. Crystal clear desplay,superb camera,outstanding touch experience, very fast go for it

Some updates that Gsmarena has made to Xperia Arc review ->
1. Arc has ambient light sensor.
2. In most of the markets Arc comes with 16 Gb memory card, HDMI cable and leather case.
3. Sound quality of Xperia Arc is great.

in philippine this phone will be selling for 29,990.00.its too expensive. it does not have secondary camera and sensor for brightness.

why sony ericsion why u not put front camera in this phone ,i think it is very usefull in todays 3g life.
front camera make this phone perfect but sad it is not

hey to any knowledgeable person out there, here's some few question I had in my mind that needs your help.
*what is ROM and RAM and how it affect the phone ?
*there's some comparison about LCD screen and SUPER AMOLED, what is the difference of the both types of screens? is it just the colour and display ? or has it got to do with the sensitivity of the touch as well? what about the burn-in I heard of?
*I understand that downloaded apps can be saved in memory card and does not affect the internal memory, but there is some apps that requires the phone's internal memory. so does lagness of the phone affected in this factor? is there possibilities, for example showing sign of lagness with the free internal memory is low ?
regarding the battery life,
*does LCD or SUPER AMOLED screen affects the battery?
*why does android operating system are said to have low battery management ? which operating systems are at best of battery management
* what does the CPU functions as? I heard a lot about dual core and single core, what's the difference of dual core and single core? Is it for gaming purposes only or does it improves the smoothness of the phone performance and other aspects as well?
I really hope I would receive clear and detailed replies from anyone out there who knows about it, I'm really interested into getting a good phone for myself but I'm not that wealthy to make the wrong choice. it's one chance and I consider all my factors in it.
I hope this few questions posted could be a discussion as well for further understanding to the other GSM arena viewers. thanks for taking time reading this post from a confused phone user =)

First day experience Arc in my LIFE -
Busy customizing Arc as my previous X10...
Found a lot of similarity & upgrading of both software & firmware!!!
SE does failed everyone on X10, but Arc is the BEST successor ever!!!

From a smartphone point of view battery life in N8 is great.
Android is already infamous for it's battery life, WP7 is no better than android. Another major smartphone platform left is symbian which is actually much more efficient and provides great battery life.

[deleted post]If it was made entirely from Aluminiun then it would be to heavy and you would moan about that. If you drop a plastic phone, the case will either absorb the impact or crack. Repalcing will be cheap, since its plastic. Metal on the other hand dents with any decent impact and is more expensive to replace, repair. Decide now please!!
