i have this phone, and i love the camera, its really impressive for mobile camera platform quality, Exmor R sensor did a great job when take picture in low light condition area, but for the shutter speed, n86 Carl Zeiss more faster than this...Music and Video quality?? I dont have to comment about it because its SONY man...
the battery can stand about 1~2 day depends on using...

just noticed it easily gets hot o... moreit is normal my arc it´s get about 50 degris when i use wi-fi or 3g 4g internet browsing.... but it work fine even is hot...

it is a great phone but a single core n the iphone has a higher performance 8mp camera with 1080p.. the arc shud have had more internal memory as well like 8gb at least and a dual core processor and please increase battery life.. please sony ericsson its a great phone but it is a bit disappointing :( im still a big fan of sony ericsson n look forward to all ur new phone ideas

thanks for the replies.
one more thing though.
the screen randomly turns on and off for about three to five times. i don't know why this is happening.

not worth buying atall....competition has dual cores and even quad cores,,arc s is still stuck with the old single core,,battery is only 1500mah,,no front facing camera,,sony ericsson make phones which only look good.performance wise it is crap.

you know guy's if it has a front camera and 1 gb internal usable memory it is perfect for me i hope for improvement next unit.....and also the battery must be use more lifespan battery.... but in general it's good nice phone...
