i am anew user to the android world and just brought... moreWell two issues
1) you go to google play or market and download all you need from softwares etc...
2) to log in with your gmail you must set up you account from settings, emails, new account add data then activate.
You can log to google gmail settings on the internet to get ports and data, so so simple. It is like an ipad.

Just had the White Xperia Arc S & my last one was the ARC.Is still a easy Smart phone to use & can last a day if u utilised the power saving features.Well it has radio if u need one.Even the pics taken is great & sharp.Cheers.

(1)please add xvid/divx option in this phone
(2)please increase the inbuilt memory upto 8gb
(3)incrase the camera range upto 12mp with flash

Take backup of memory card (photo videos music only)
Format card
Reinsert card
Reinstall your apps
Next time use Titanium Backup free to backup and restore your apps before formatting internal storage.

Just bought it yesterday, great phone, the picture, the sound, the ability, just simply great.. and don't forget those "sexy" line arc s have..
but the battery consumption pretty crazy, but i can handle it with battery saver app..
for scale 1-10 i give 9, nearly perfect huh.. recommended android phone..

hi,
i am anew user to the android world and just brought xperia arc s. i am unable to find where is the media server and how to activate it. second i am uable to open my gmail id in my mobile device, rather it is opening others gmail account. my gmail account is also un accessible from other android phones. please help me in this regard.

A little bit of heat is normal for say upto 40 deg C but not more than that....if it happens to have more heat you should get that thing checked upp.....

Very much so when playing games like Asphalt 6 and GTA 3.(These two games really push the phone to it's limit but it handles them very well). I think it will get like that when the proccessor is working hard.
