Ysday I purchased ... more1) To view data in memory card, install Astro File Manager from Android Market.
2)The music videos will not show up in the gallery video player if they are not in mp4 format. The phone does not natively support divx, xvid, etc. But you can play them using a player from the market: try MOBOplayer. You can play video files through it, or using Astro file manager, navigate to the folder where you placed the videos, and play them: the phone will ask you whether to play using moboplayer or through the native player.

For those who had the touch screen problem like the slider for unlocking not working etc, it is a software problem. Just confirmed it from Sony.

Hi Jeetu i am from chd....
Even I face the same problem since i bought the time i receive the call keyboard starts appearing than its difficult to pick the call...Even i went SE service center but they said we update the software rest as my set is 15 days old so not easy to replace...
But what i find the time we receive call sometimes incidently right side touch is pressed which makes the keyboard to apper reset set is good in all aspect.
Still u have any other solution for it plz let me no.............

My handset is literally problem free, and I don't know how everyone else is complaining. If anything happens within 7-days of purchase, SE is contractually obliged to give you a new handset. The flickering problem is not really a problem- please don't blow it out of proportion-the light sensor works all the time, and on detecting a shadow, it becomes brighter, and vice-versa- this gives the appearance of a flickering screen, and can be fixed if SE gives an option to switch off automatic display brightness adjustment. The heating problem or the capacitive button problem has not been experienced by me. Maybe it is a defective batch or something- I don't know. If you are afraid, you could go for the Xperia Ray, its thinner, has a better screen and a better camera-but costs quite a bit more. But if you get a problem free piece, then this phone is the most VFM phone you will ever find.

I going to buy Xperia Mini!! so Guys tell me which firmware works perfect!! Heating problem, Touchscreen problem, Flickering problem and Button problem present in all Xperia Mini?? Guys who are not having these problem!! Plz tell me!! Help me!!

Sony Ericsson wasted my whole day & Guess what I got in the end - Nothing.
My Mini will be replaced though, but I do not know in how much time.
I think it will take nearly a week.
It was less than 7 days old.
I am totally frustrated due to this problem & wasted a lot of time.

Dont go for this phone... it has problem with two keys( back key and menu key) i hav this one. i dnt know wat to do.... now i hate SE. this is my 1st SE product

I experienced the unresponsive touchscreen only once. Anyone who faces this problem, have you tried to perform a full reset (with loss of data)?
