Friends...i want to upgrade from 2 gb card which i got ... moreYou dont need to copy all files in the current sd card into the new one, only "Android" folder is important as it stores some preinstalled and installed application's datas, also "others" directory where the user guide files are located. If you play the preloaded games (Games by PopCap), copy "TrialAndBuy" directory, where the game's sounds and other respective files are located.
If somehow after inserting the new sd card the phone doesn't show these directories, you should create them by urself (usually the phone will create them automatically) as they must be present in the memory card:
- bluetooth folder (where the bluetooth sent files are stored)
- DCIM folder, and 100ANDRO folder inside (to save the camera photos and video recording files)

Today I again had the keyboard & Vibrating problem, a couple of times.
In an incoming call the keyboard showed up & can't be removed by any key & continuous vibration was there.
After end of the call no keys or the touchscreen was working.
The phone worked only after taking the battery out & starting the phone again.
Then again the same thing happened 2-3 times.
Strangely my phone is not even hot as stated by other people here that these problems are due to heat.
Leaving this problem aside, this phone is great.
Tomorrow I'll take it to the Service Center.
Will they replace it? It is not even 1 week old.
Well, how would I show the problem to them as it does not happens all the time?

I am facing a problem. the phone switches off automatically as soon as i make a call or try receiving one??
is there any problem with the firmware???

Hi! Friends...i want to upgrade from 2 gb card which i got with xperia min handset to 12 gb memory card.
but as i can see there are many apps pre-installed on the card so how should i replace it?
I mean should i copy all the apps in Ma lappy & then paste all these apps on new memory card, is it ok?
or i need to do something else?

confirmed about heating problem !
actualy we mstly dnt uncheck 'to alow backgrnd appz to use netwrk ' due to ths mstly appz kep on usng intrnet ! whch cnsumes btry ! and ur phne is doing to much wrk tht tym ! itz obious the phne wil heat up if itz ben usd the whole day non stop ! itz advicd to close/force close evry app tht use netwrk whn nt usng phne !
I also figurd the flick prb of scren !! itz cuz of wrng way of hldng ! jst bnd ur phne lil toward urslf n the flick start !!! i.e hldng phne btw 90 to 180 thr r chnces of scren to flick cuz of bad lightng !! it is advicd to hold phne slightly tiltd away frm body i.e 86 to 70 degre in ur handz !!! I hope it solvs ur prb.!

Hi! Friends bought xperia mini two days back...so far so good, no issues, its an excellent phone.
A big thumbs-up to sOny for doing a great job but it seems like problems start after three days so i am keeping my fingers crossed :D

Its really hard to buy this phone inspite of the inviting specs because of the heating issue. Its too risky to believe that your phone will not face issue. Atleast we will be satisfied if sony ericsson confirms these problems are from a defective batch and the other phones are all fine. But that isnt coming from them. Unfortunately i would have to go for the wildfire- s whose specs look much inferior to this phone but is pricier :(

To all those that are reluctant to buy Xperia mini. don't you worry. i say to you, this is the coolest and best phone in its category. there's nothing more that you can ask for. bought mine last week and it works perfectly well. no signs of those problems that are mentioned here. so go ahead, own a mini. kudos to SE! :D

I also faced a problem in my xperia mini after using it for only 3 days.
In an incoming call, the keypad showed up, I thought may be the capacitive button was pressed accidentally.
I, then pressed all the keys several times, trying to remove the keypad from the screen & pickup the call but no key was responding.
I then pressed the volume down button & phone was silenced but started vibrating endlessly till the end of the call.
After end of the call my phone was not responding, not even by the power on/off button.
After 5 mins phone starts working normally.
Then I tried to call it myself by my other phone.
I called it around 10 times & got this problem again.
This time vibration was not there but keys were not responding & was unable to remove the keypad.
After end of the call, when screen turned off, I pressed the home key, the screen was awake, but now touchscreen was not responding, I was unable to unlock the screen by slider.
I then long pressed the power on/off key so that I can switch the phone off, but in the phone options screen, I cannot select Power Off Option, The touch screen was not respondind at all.
I have to remove the battery & start the phone again.
I then repeated all this & the results were same.
This is very annoying.
How can I use it like this.
I have no clue what the problem is.
I have no abnormal heating problem though I think.
The phone gets warm sometimes but I think that's pretty normal thing.
Anybody have any idea on this keyboard problem?
Also I am unable everytime I try to update the phone software.

But our real problem is SE isn't replying to our inquiries well . Battery is really not that bad it's above average. Got good sound and headphones are nice too(). I f your phone isn't damaged, it's the best value for money product at this price range.
