Saad, 15 Sep 2011Hey Sid. I got the Xperia mini(black). Where can I get appl... moreCongratulations, man. You will not regret your decision, ever. OK, free games and apps are available all over the net, but I'm not sure which ones are safe to download, as many of these APK files (.apk is the file format you will be downloading to your computer.). You could also use torrents to download the apps and games. First, go to the Android market and download Astro File Manager on your Mini. Then, once you have downloaded the apk files onto your computer, transfer them to your phone's SD card. Then, open Astro on your phone, find the apk you transferred from your computer, install it, and voila! You have yourself a free game/app. Also, just keep a backup of the phone's contacts, messages, etc-just in case the file you downloaded contains malware. Also, move all your apps to SD card to save phone memory.

[deleted post]What do you mean vibrating to back button? I haven't played any graphic intensive games on this, but have used the internet for hours- The only time it ever got a little hot was after a 1 hour phone conversation. Are you saying that the phone automatically hits the back button? Because in my experience, my palm accidentally hits the back button, in between almost any application. That could be your problem, but I'm not exactly sure.

Hi everyone... just want to know if the rumours about the very little battery juice is true? how does it last with heavy/moderate use?? it will really be frustrating to have to reach out for the charger every 10-12 hrs!! And how's the camera? the camera shots seen in picassa from the mini seem to be average at best ( a lot of software sharpening and less detail?!! )the Hazel and Elm had brilliant 5MP snappers....do reply please if you have used the mini first hand...

xperia has gps and for offline usage you can use locus free, find it at android market, for first use you still need internet conection to download map for your area. Or for your destination area. And you can save it for offline usage later. I have this phone, over all good phone but do not install any application that use working in the background because it will drain you battery quickly. Damn android because too much use power to stand by. Sony and ericsson always make good phone. But for os i hate this os.

Sameer, 15 Sep 2011Bt wat abt the android feature dat people lukin for?? Nokia... moreI already said that "If you want a phone to play with, and have fun, and you want an ANDROID" you should get the mini. If you don't care about Android, the N8 should be a beautiful phone. Everything except for the OS are very good (Symbian Anna runs perfectly smooth on the N8's rather outdated internals). The only reason people go for phones like the mini, ace, etc is because of Android. Otherwise, for the same price, Nokia offers better build and features. If you do not need apps or games, and don't think Android is worth the fuss, then get the N8. If you want to experience Android, download apps, games, live wallpapers, professional software, etc, go for the mini.
