Hi! Guyzzz...please tell how is wi-fi tethering via Xperia Mini pro?
I am looking to buy it but "sometimes" i use My mobile phone as modem for My lappy, although i hv a data card but i want to use this mobile phone as a back-Up modem in case My data card network is down.

I feel that a further exchange would ... moreThis is an inconveniance, but can also easily be harmful on the device in longer term - it doesn't sound relaxing.
Only on one thing I don't agree properly - I think further replacement can be the best option, e.g. if phones4u restarts selling Mini Pro again, ask them the manufacturing time, or any other data to identify and accept one that comes from the likely revised phones ;)

AnonD-18800, 28 Aug 2011Xloud is working, and for noise you can find more informati... morexloud is working ah man? thats great for me after replacement of mobile, in the second one also i have the same problem. when the volume is set to full and i enable the xloud feature the sound is not rised it just goes down. think i have to go to sony ericson service centre again. what can i do if all the xperia mini pro has this xloud problem. Guess no use of replacing it again and again. iam really upset with this xperia mini pro. all the other feature are good. but this xloud feature is not proper.I just want a xperia mini pro in which there is no problem:(

I feel that a further exchange would be futile, but the only other option would be to find some kind of work around i.e. Trying various settings. Although connecting to the wall charger while plugged in, seems to get rid of the static noise but this is an inconveniance.
Tomorrow, I'll ask in the t mobile and vodafone stores and see what I can get from them.

I also contacted SEAnswers support, but they're not that helpful. On Monday I'll call our local SE branch.
We both love this device, good design, strong specs, all we want is a normally working phone:)
So it's not only me waiting from you, and I'll also share anything I become aware of :) I just feel that in the UK things will clear up faster:)

yes, I am from the UK, although I purchased this from Carphonewarehouse. It seems that they are not aware of the issues and that phones 4u are the only retail outlet having these things sent back although at the time no reason was given.
My main concern is that this problem is more of a hardware issue than software.
I will certainly give that number a call as well as S.E. Themselves to see what they suggest.
It seems that all the handsets have this issue.

"The best people i would advise to speak to Gabor is our sales team as i would not want to mis advise you they will be able to give you all the information you need for this and its a free phone number too it's 08000725855 and they are open until 6pm. Is this ok for you Gabor ? is there anything else i can help you with today?"
I suppose then you're from the UK, that's why you call them - thanks for sharing what you achieve.
Many owners aware of the problem wait for clarification - and your news are the first to suggest a larger scale process instead of individuals replacing their phone! So keep on posting:)

I asked if they had another phone in store I could try out and when the sales person checked stock, she told me that they had been quarranteened and other branches had sent them back. She gave me a number for their main dept so I will ring them tomorrow so that they can elaborate as to why.

Has way better quality as compare to nokia :D

not only getjar but also from all site tht provide android softwares nd games and u can access 250k apps from android market.
4) Which all video format will it support?
by default u can play videos format like mp4 nd 3gp upto 720p of resolution but u can download xvid divx player from android market to play all formats.
5) Flash light can use as a torch light like nokia got ? it has flash for cam purpose so i think that it is also possible to use as a flashlight :)
