Anonymous, 29 Aug 2012please help me i am thinking to buy xperia mini pro is this... morethe Mobile is a very good deal, and it is in the same category with HTC wild fire S, but the XPERIA has the edge in the processing power and RAM. also the awesome full physical keyboard is in the favor of the Xperia. worth mentioning that the batter sucks in both. if this is the first time you are using Android then you will notice the difference. but it's not about the phone itself, it is the way Android phone works. BTW the only thing that would make u go for the HTC is that is the smaller dimensions. Good luck.

I guess you would know, but it appears to me that the update can also be done FOTA. I have had an update notification popping up ever since i bought my phone. Im guessing you could go to settings, about phone and try that, more likely youve tried it.

Its generally a good idea to do a factory reset after an update, just to totally refresh the phone. Also i have found myself, as with others, that just doing a factory reset also sorts bugs out on android phones. Make sure you get an app to "back up apps"..... and that all you media is on an sd card. Then after doing a factory reset try to update.

Ravi, 26 Aug 2012When u take off the data cable both from pc & cellphone... moreI tried that but it doesn't seem to help. My phone seems to shut it self Down at the second state of the update By it self. Is it normal? Because the instructions tell me to shut it Down, but at that point it's shut Down By it self. Never tought updating a phone could be this hard. With my old Nokia 5620 I could just update straight from the phone. Still like this better though, but hard to update this one
