If yes, you are also experiencing the same problem I experienced. When I upgraded my phone to ICS, I always got a black screen (although my phone is switched on). Pressing the power button many times temporarily solved my problem. Since my phone is under warranty, I took it to the Sony Service Center. After diagnosis, I was told that LCD and front cover will be replace and it will also be downgraded to Gingerbread. The technicians who worked on my phone also suggested not to upgrade the phone to ICS to avoid glitches of the system. After a week, I got my phone back, and now it's in good working condition! Hope this works!

I love Xperia ray very cool phone fair price and everything works exellent!! I've been using it for the past six months bt now i want to try Sony Xperia V coz of its 13mp camera,dust and water proof and slim 4G network owesome!! big up sony!!!

Great phone with perfect design and Screen Quality..the only limitation with this phone is camera doesnt hav an xtra button to click and internal memory is 420 only..

[deleted post]Sometimes playstore won't respond with edge connection. In such a situation try from app's setting. There could be some options like "update app"/ "check for update". Using which you can directly connect to Myapps category of playstore. if you are unable to connect using Edge/gprs. Try to remove and reinstall settings of your operator. even if not worked out, Factory Reset the phone. will works..... :)

But, Sony ,if u launch Xperia Ray Plus with only one thing - a bit bigger screen size it would have a killer response

Nice and smart. It is a very good phone, with a good design and it is elegant. I have one and I used it a year. I'm very pleased!

Yes, it is great phone! - If you ask why is great and why iphone 5 or galaxy s3 or s4 are NOT great,..here is my answer:
Ray is cheap phone, very cheap...about 200€ new one! And with this cheap phone you can have GB or ICS and take great photos and HD video (and DLNA to TV). You can skype, play games, mail, edit/view documents, surf web, watch movies, wifi tether, microsd 32GB for sure (my is adata class10) or 64GB seems to work also. You can get enough space for installing apps, you can easy root, remove bloatware, CWM, GPS navigation, GPS sports/workout,...Long lasting battery,..Prety much everything you can do with expensive phone 600€ and more...
And all that in small, slim, package under 100gram.
I am not talking that iphone 5 or galaxy s4 is worse than Ray, but if you measure ratio price/gain - than Ray wins. You give small amount of money and get a lot in return!
