Recently upgraded to the X1 from a P1 and so far so good. Initially i missed the scroll wheel for one hand use but got over that, the optical joysick is sufficient. It has pretty much everything I want from a winmo phone and the qwerty keyboard sold it to me, though its fine for me someone with chubby fingers would probably struggle with it. Decent music playback and 3.5mm jack is a great addition. The screen is a good size, not quite a iphone but its more then enough for comfortable browsing, typing up documents and the odd movie when bored. The x panels are a nice touch which give you lots of options for customizing the device though I would like it if the transition was a bit faster. For more experienced users I recomend trying HTC's Touch Flo 3D port onto the X1 (google it) requires a rom flash but makes one hand touch screen use much more pleasant. Overall I think its a great device and Sony/HTC have done a great job, by far the most stylish smartphone out there.

Hi guys, I had xda orbit2 before and just bought X1 recently, I love it, there's one problem though, for some reason my bluetooth would pair to other bluetooth devices however I cant send or recieve anything..Has anyone of ye experienced the same thing? or am I doing something wrong here ..pls advice!

nabila, 18 May 2009hi my battary i have to charge it everyday does that cause... more ihave to charge the battery every 8 hrs.is anyone else has the same problem

nabila, 18 May 2009hi my battary i have to charge it everyday does that cause... moreI think you did not charge it well. or you use 6 hours of talk time. cuz i have it and its giving me enough talk time. Even though i talk a decent amount in one day. My bat. works around 2 to 3 day almost.

Hey all !! I have this phone for 2 weeks and is working great! no problems at all.Mine was locked but i unlocked and debranded.The camera is better than nokia 5800 wich i had only bad experiences with it(earpiece,battery pin contact,screen)I'm happy with this phone

I now have been using my X1 for the last three months, It is an excellent phone, so much technology in a small package. I got frustrated the first week because one handed operation of the phone function is difficult as opposed to my previous phone the P990i. After I loaded the SPB shell off the Sony Ericsson site its been marvelous. Don't like the idea that you have to pay for a license after the 3 month period for wayfinder as opposed to other suppliers but I am supremely satisfied with the phone overall

SE have always been great in my opinion, i dont know how many of you are aware of this but this phone was made by HTC for SE, SE only designed exterior and said what features they wanted, and possibly had some hands on with the panels designing but, it's still a awesome phone, and like people have said in previous posts if you have used WinMo before you should love this device, but if you have not used WinMo Based Device before you will find it strange to use as you have to install lots of applications to get it fully customized to your liking, same as you would for a laptop of pc.......

I have had about 20 phones in the last 3 years, last phone i had was the P1 by choice over all the other new phones, and i thought it was the most awesome phone, i didnt like the X1 at first, but after a couple tweaks and a panel that makes it feel like a p1, it is just crazy awesome, this phone is by far the best phone on the market, and trust me ive messed around with alot of phones

for the anonymous one who broke his X1 twice, how do you use your phone? do you use your feet to touch the screen. you just misuse it man...

bought this phone about 2 month ago, best phone ive ever had, ignore all bad comments as i did, excelent phone, one word of advise, software update before first using the handset, after this u will experiance no software problems,

Why couldn't SE do it on their own?why's nokia making n97? cos they have an innovative idea no a slide qwerty phone with exceptional screen or are they just ripping off se again. why does it look like the fugly 5800 with same limitations? x1 manufactured by htc, who happens to make successful winmo devices and supported by a host of developers at xda. nokia's just gonna play catch up again when se anounces x2, can't wait and i don't mind if we wait another 10 months for x2, cos the smart people got x1 to keep them busy with.
