hi every one, has anyone ever downloaded new soft ware on the x1? how long did it take because yesterday i tried and it took almost nine hours but still on connection so i stopped it before it installed. please advise

I don't trust Sony Ericsson anymore after the P1i debacle, which proved they let they their phones develop and test by interns. How come a company with so much years of experience fail to deliver a properly tested user-interface. I'm dissapointed.

Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1 for those whi didn't know is developed/designed by Htc.So its a matter of taste what you buy.

Does any1 who owns Xperia know how much the SAR value is ? and also please share your experience with this smartphone...I'm interested to buy one ,here in Romania it's 359 Euro unlocked to all networks and i think it's quite a deal.

I was all set to buy the X1 until pre... moreI think u should buy this one because it is much better. and it's also your choice if you want only touch screen our touchscreen with key-board. So make a choice and buy a phone. I also heard that the new Sony Ericsson 'Idou' is also really good and cool.

I'm a HUGE sony fan! I was all set to buy the X1 until previews of the Omnia HD was released. The Omnia HD sounds like an awesome phone. Any opinions out there? Has anyone heard anything about the new Omnia HD (besides what's in the previews on this site)? Thanks!

u must go to setting "BEAM"
accept all incoming beam only can accept file from bluetooth..

The X1 is absolutely brilliant. Once you set it up to how u want it to run, it's unbelieveably good. I get two days battery life from it with pretty heavy usage, including sms mms email (4 accounts) streaming youtube, internet and at least a few hours of phone calls, still and video camera, music playback and games. Sometimes even Video calls. I love this phone and SE keeps rockin!
