Also I have an xperia and I love it, I know that the way the buttons are will be weird at first, but you get used to it. In factbibam writing this on my xperia right now. So get the xperia, but if you have a 3g network then make sure to get the sony xperia x1i.

Think twice before U, 27 Mar 2009No wonder took Apple only 1 yr to get to top of smart phone... moreyes, Apple will come out with v 3.0 with Lots of anticipated features such as copy/cut/paste, messaging forwarding and video recording, i dont think any phone has that yet
nevermind that iphone cant install third party softwares, since it is a touch screen phone then it is still considered as a smart phone.

Xperia has got more style, a QWERTY keypad , all required features u can possibly have. it has a earphone jack thats not thr in Touch( sometimes useful). Visibility in sunlight is better in Xperia. If ur ready to wait then go for Touch Pro 2 , higher version of touch pro, which will be in market soon but much costlier

if you want t9 you should take the htc. X1 does not have T9. unfortunetly

Does more recently manufactured Xperia have the upgraded ROM, or does all Xperia need to be upgraded by users themselves after purchased? Isit thos with 08w44 - 08w46 only have crack case problem?

buy a xperia if you are tech savvy otherwise stick to something idiot proof. Idiots come on this user board saying can't get this to work can't get that to work Why didn't they buy a fruit phone of simple symbian? Seems they can't search at, or read postings at dedicated websites such as www.xda-developers.com

No wonder took Apple only 1 yr to get to top of smart phone market,
I have tried these latest phone last few months:
HTC Touch HD, Samsung BJ 2, HTC Fuze, iPhone 3G, Nokia E71, Nokia 5800 Black US version.
iPhone 3G still the BEST, people talk and compare iphone with other smart phone more and more.
Winsdow Mobile OS till looooong way to catch up Aplle, and alot to learn.
Iphone still the best phone I have see so far, wait and see by this summer, Apple will come out 3.0 ver with many new features.
Apple will control the world smart phone markets.
Since I have iPhone 3G until now I never leave it more than 2 days.

Hi,
I bought this X1a a week ago, look bold, stylist, fency.
Updated to newest software, but have 2 problems.
First one keep disconecting from Motorola Headset Bluetooth (called SE support said, I have to use SE products.....what?)
Second also keep disconecting from 2007 E350 MB car telephone system.
Both problem above, I have to reconecte everytime....got real mad.
Never happen to other phones I had, only to X1A SE.
The video call will not work on SE X1A version, they did not installed video call to X1A ver.
Do more research, and make decision before you buy....this is expensive phone not cheap one.

I've been using Windows Mobile for three months, I've got to say it's a lot better than people give it credit for. Ok it's not as easy to use or as pleasing on the eye as OSX or Symbian but it is powerful. An added bonus is you can change everything to suit your needs- touchscreen sensitivity, boot screens, ui etc etc it's a one size fits all with Symbian and osx That's no use for me!
