Finally got the phone on Thursday, I like it. I'm constantly having to try and wrestle the phone from my wife cos she absolutely loves it. It does have it's little quirks but I'm sorting that out. The UI takes some getting use to but it didn't take me too long. It does need some tweaks but once that's sorted it will truly be a great multimedia device. X1 rules! Beautiful screen, keyboard, decent battery performance and quite a few developers who offers software tweaks and support. My only question is: Where can I download opera mini for this phone preferably ver 3.12 or 4 cos the current browsers is data hungry and we can save some bucks oh yes and how the heck do you sort out this bluetooth issue?!!!!

Hi guys,if you care about a businessmans advice who has used this phone from day 1 and always has owned the P-series, from the P800 and P900 P910 and the P990i. Here are some findings regarding the X1: Panels look nice but they get stuck all the time when you want to change between them. Phone gets hung and you cant even switch off (hard reset). Phone started to crack, is a fabrication problem what I have hear of of the first generation. HD display keyboard is to small even to use with the stylus. Battery cover is immensely difficult to remove. Broke my nail twice.Overall the phone is relatively unreliable. My msn messenger stopted working after firmware update and panel problem was still not fixed. So you lose more then you gain when you update your firmware.Im thinking about sending the phone back but I dont have any substitute. Maybe ill buy the old P1. Heard that a P5 or P3 was coming out. Only rumours though. I have always used the flagship phones of sony ericcson.They were good phones and ahead of their time, better then the blackberries of many of my counterparties.So I was very excited about the X1.On paper it is still the killer phone.So thats why I feel ver unfortunate to write this comment.If someone has tips im glad to hear about it.What to do when panels get stuck?

Nokia N97 is a good phone. Actualy N97 and X1 you can say have almost same hardware. So the choice between N97 and X1 is the OS. And god know's i am not going with Symbian, couse it sucks on My E90. You should see how nokia Smartphones are slow, they realy need faster CPU.
See Nokia has a good name and nobody bashes it. So when WM is a little slow they all bash that, but even tat little firmware fixes. But Nokia smartphones beeing just so slow, no DIV-x capable even, and nobody comments on that? Gues you pay for the name not functions, when boying Nokia...
But still whyn i bought E90, there was no phone with that realy good hardware, so i was stuck with Smbian, hell, never again.

Me to the nokia n97 is the best personal computer/phone out there at the moment i wish x1 wa as good but not by a long way n97 the way to heaven x1 rubbish bomb lol

I think the new n97 speaks foritself compared to the poxy x1 it puts it shame even the iphone beats the x1 so n97 all round if ya cant bat it join it lol

Small and veery ugle. If you talk with that on your ear you just look sily. Lot more silly, than with mine E90, which is big, but at least resembles a phone...

i think this good device not not better then e71,i some one like touch screen phone then go for x1, otherwise e71 is good

Thanks. Since in out country, the common color of X1 is black. So, I might think it over.
Please help. Why not choose silver?

I want to buy a PDA. But having trouble selecting one. Is this the best now availabe? Or is HTC or LG better? Someone said that the Xperia doesn't have a secondary video call camera. Is that true? No frontal camera? PLS PLS help..
