I had posted a message yesterday about this same thing. But I'll do that here again, for your convenience. So here goes...
Yes, I do agree that there is a difference in the numbers - 3.2mp on the X1 compared to 5mp or even 8mp on some phones today. But can you answer a few questions:
1. Do you print your pictures in A2 or A3?
2. Do you makes extreme crops from your pictures?
3. Are you happy with the other aspects of the X1's camera, I mean besides the megapixel rating?

Couse if it would they would announce it at MWC 2009, but as far as a hear, SE will have 5 new phones, but no smartphone at MWC 2009...
Shame couse smarthphones are what is making a lot of money.
or maybe they changed strategy, and will announce X2 only few months before release?

But I must agree with you that they need to change something e.x to use windows mobile in most of their phones, just imagine if Hikaru was WM 6.1 or 6.5 !!!. I know that this phone is the best till now but now i cant wait for Xperia X2 with Windows Mobile 6.5

i think its time for SE to create something new group of phone, the cybershot, walkman phone is so last history... try to make a combination of smartphone and camera, or walkman phone and business phone...
they need to star experimenting something new with full features, new interface , new looks , and a new name.....im so a fan of SE....pls. dominate the 2009...

Please help! Yesterday I connect my X1 via USB cable and ActiveSync recognize my device. After few hours when I connect device to a cable - nothing...? ActiveSync is not working and doesnt recognize my X1, like I didnt plug it in..? It says Not connected and Waiting for device to connect..? What should I do..?

NOKIA is cheap like its 5800 XM. SE manufactured class cellphone like XPERIA X1. When I saw 5800 XM, OMG it's so cheap, really cheap. That's the reason why I'm no longer using any NOKIA because NOKIA is really for the masses or those people who are not high-tech.

I did the firmwear update, and i didnt like it, i deleted it off my storage memory card, but everytime i turn on my phone, it still shows the bubbles thing. anyone can tell me how to delete that?

Just your average windows mobile phone, your pretty much only paying for the sleek design. Other than that I wouldn't go nuts over the software, comparing it to the iPhone UI, it is outclassed very easily.

No wonder SE losses money while others (LG, Samsung, Apple etc.) make huge profits!
