So many people come to this section and type nonsense! the camcorder is very good as is the WM OS. 99percent of the negative comments are from people who have never used the device or do not have the technical know how to deal with WinMo

I have check this phone, and the video recording and playing quality is choppy, and very low sound and mono!

I will never buy again a cell phone which cannot works the other applications it has without the sim card installed on it like sony phones do...

the N82 is closer to be Top Media device and also you can use it in Business through the Wi-Fi tech
but X1 is a Top Business & office devices and also you can use it as Media devices through the available applications
beside all the is both of the phones operate by different system

I had this phone in my hand, and I try operating couple important things, the screen is mystical because if you think about 800x480 screen size than it must be a quality screen, but is not, it should have been larger to cover phone face, and this kind of big clumsy buttons they are useless really when the phone is screen touch, and even screen is so high resolution, the menu fonts is ugly&jerky low-res that you can see easy pixels, no postscript fonts!
I think it's fake screen resolution named that high, maybe is 600x320 or similar!
I take couple photos seem to be okay, but video recording was choppy skipping frames and the same when you play them!
I think displaying this choppy videos in TV n front of your family, it may hurt them eyes!
It's light and nice keyboard, it's mono sound and hardly you hear that, as a high end SE clime to be the set, it should have been stereo sound built in it!

simon nye, 24 Dec 2008sick of no clamshell smartfones,with auto focus etc,YOU are right ive said that for last 3 yrs or more,,we had panasonic x800 way back up to nokia n76 and bb pearl flip and the only 2 autofocus smarfone flips ever available in uk are n93/n93i,,Their is one thing manufactures should consider,,that is my w610i has 2mp autofocuse cam in 14 mm shell so it is possible and 2 mp is brilliant for phones,,so that can fit ia flip,,s/e can do that and add walkman ,plus all the usual gubbins on a200 platform and add a o/s..The only fact in the latest a200 platform is they have not upgraded the proccssor so the qualcom on xperia wouls straighten out that..All said there is nowt i or anyone else can do about it and jap fones are finished over here in uk especially high end from sharp toshiba etc,,all i do is look at docomo and foma fones etc and can only look thats it unless i move and learn the lingo???

The phone is good but don't even think about using it without the stylus. It offers a nice experience to the user, but more on the tradition of slide out keyboards (HTC TyTN and HTC Pro). The screen is excellent with high resolution, but it's very narrow, which makes it awkward and difficult to use. Good call quality, bad camera, it's very expensive. Then don't forget it's Windows Mobile... I used to be a fan... but now I'm not so sure... lots of problems!
