Some people wants to see more colors some more resolution :))
Do not get upset!
We/They can be different.
For me - I just hope SE fixes the battery problems and the poor reception.
BTW, if someone claims to look at full pages of webpage on a 3˝ screen - that person gives a new meaning to Hawkeye! :)
These new reps go overboard sometimes. ;)

WinMo 6.5 update is available for X1? Free?
That is a good decision by SE! WinMo 6.1 is just too buggy.
I guess the new units, X1A, already has the WinMO 6.5.

vin, 18 Dec 2008hey.should i wait for the new N 97 or buy Xperia now? .. wh... moreThese two phones in my opinion cannot be compared....Firstly choose if you want a symbian or Windows Mobile.
The screen resolution is totally different, the experia has a higher resolution (forget the cr*p about the 65K color) the resolution that counts.
From my experiance, having a N95 and now the Xperia, as for GPS the Xperia is much faster to get SAt poisitions and more accurate. I find WM a better choice for me since I synch with pc keeping apps and things on outlook and being able to create a Word document on my laptop while I'm waiting somewhere or print straight away on clients printer, I find it fantastic.
I would definatley tell you to get Xperia X1, better build quality and professional feel to it.....good luck in making your choice.

Nice enthusiasm :)
WE all know you had nice intention, but do not go to far. Omnia users reported much less bugs, etc. so if you put it down too much you loose credibility.
You may like the X1 better and many do, like many prefer Omnia. But they may look similar product on paper the X1 almost cost twice.
As fas as X1A - is it really available? :)
You must have good connections. But reps usually do.
It would have been nice to put that in your little review that you are a pro.
We all look at your post with much more respect :)

Had this phone for a week X1A silver. Last 2 phones were the HTC Cruise then the Samsung Omnia. I must say the screen is not only beautiful and allows readability of small script (loading full internet page, going through ppt presentations), but it is very responsive compared to the Omnia: takes minimal touch input to respond and scrolling is smooth, compared to occasional repetitive inputs and buggy scrolling on the Omnia. Having full US 3G is now awesome! (Omnia does not have - at lease the GSM version). Phone is indeed fast and the keyboard is oh so welcoming. I thought i didnt need a keyboard when I was using the Omnia, but a keyboard simplifies everything. Panels are cute .. but SPB panel is all that I need. However I can see the appeal: one day you may use the phone mostly for music so you set that panel, etc. Don't get me wrong, Omnia is an awesome phone, it holds the 16GB memory and 5MP camera over the Xperia; but the screen, US 3G, and keyboard outweighed the Omnia.

PS. thanks for telling about ONC because I would have thought you are an Oncology Certified Nurse.
I thought engineers just get a diploma from a University like MIT or Caltech. I did not know that in England there is a .... engineering course .... with an exam.

2002??? Who can remember that?
May be old people who can not remember 5 min. (ST- short term memory) but remember 2002 :)
Well, hopefully one of your follower will translate your answer, but I guess it did not include a reference.
As far as anecdotal evidence - we all had enough.

Anonymous, 17 Dec 2008I need some more education :)))
Few weeks ago a rep was ... morenow i know your joking the info your after was been discussed in 2002 as far as i can remember,,the t68 used a lithium polmer battery and studies were already out that these new type of batterys do not need 16hrs charge like ni/cads or Nickel metal hydryde and the lithium cells get broken in after a charge/discharge cycle of around 5-7 times and peak around 100-200 charges and decay after that. This not set in stone truth as the way peaople use batterys varies tremendously..M y first fone used nickel metal hydyde back in 1998 with phillips yet in 2000 when i upgrtaded to moto v2288 it came with 3 ni/cad batterys. ni/cad = nickel cadmiun in case you do not know and are just about banned now i hope cause cadmium is toxic to humans and under recharge or abuse the cadmium could cause kidney failure etc,,lithium is still toxic except in mental conditions such as yours where it can be helpfull but in the batterys its fairly enclosed and stable but can set on fire giving off toxic lithium fumes..
RAM or random access memory using nand chips or whatever slightly bend over time and thats how cops etc and forensics can gather data after a porn raid or airplane disaster black box as the experts study these bends a somehow ressurect the data..IF you store an mp3 tune on bit of ram over and over again the o and 1 bend in a certain way tat the chips get used to so can learn data as well as cookies and some things that you continually do are learnt by these factors..When you by a new memory card it is fresh and should workwell but constant re-formatting bends and unbends these logic gates using NAND and eventually memory cards wear out,,RAM memory must use some different faster memory but i only know of or,,nor,,and or nand types of logic gates and truth tables but theres MRAM,,EEPROM ALLSORTS,,its complex but was covered in my O.N.C. in electronic and electrical engineering exam..Thats all i can vaguely remember fron 6 yrs ago they probably have advanced more but do not know..

I need some more education :)))
Few weeks ago a rep was giving this advice:
- to improve data access, memory recall you need to use the phone for a few days - saying that RAM will get used to the large amount of data.
- these days, Li-Po battery gets better as we deplete it and recharge it few times.
Any reference about it?
Anything from SE or other official paper on this?
let us know! :)
otherwise we may start looking like promoting a myth ;)
