People talk about the phone software hanging or crashing, am sure these people never tried the phone. One minor issues are there which can be solved with a firware update. But these nokia fanboys never talk about how their big guns or smart phone are so not smart the N96 11.101 firmware is also not stable very slow & this was the 3rd update since the phone has released & dont forget the N95 which the call the best ever phone made how many updates came to get it stable.

If your pc literate (by literate I mean more than installing programs) you will love the Xperia x1 if not then the learning curve will probably be too steep and you will end up putting your shortcomings down to bugs and end up hating the device

come give a handsonn opinion X1 has lost its appeal and there is not much this forum its merits and flops discussed becuz its not avail n middle east or too expensive. Just visit this forum in 2009 its price ad updates might be conducive then

you can have youtube...you need to install flash on it... this is available step by step on youtube.com

I received my X1 2 days ago....and mind you i'm a phone ggek and i love to buy phones and inter change among them...and this by far is the best phone i've had my hands on... There were too many negative comments floating in this forum...but i assure you that this phone has great performance and quality...you can check out reviews on the youtube site where professionals tell you how great the phone is... Don't compare the phone to the speed of a pc...compare it with the other pocket pc / windows mobile phones you've ever had... you'll see the difference...the screen resolution is outta this world...gettin' this phone frm the UK is cheaper than in the US... compared to the iphone 3G which i'm also using currently.... both has their different specialties... but X1 is definately more powerful...

Well, at last it arrived! The specs look good.
Anyhow i have a question... As I understood, it doesn't contain youtube client, can it be installed on it from an external source????

can this phone view horinzontal without keypad slide down ???because sometimes no need flip down to on9,i prefer like much more.
if any user try it can use,without slide down keypad please tell me thank!!!

seem like the SE manufacture this phone really good sucessor by instead the P series i think.we can see the many positif comment in the forum!!! i hope SE will keep upgrade the firmware to make it more bettter !!!
1 important thing is,overcome the ram leaking !!!!

i have this phone for two days.. the phone is great!!! i almost did not buy it because of some people BS! THIS PHONE IS FAST AND GREAT QAULITY!!!

I recently received my X1 I must say I have spent hours learning how to use it and I am satisfied with it well worth the wait. I live in a bad area for reception and it dosent have any problems picking up reception, the battery appears to be doing well seeing some of the other reviews. I would personally recommend this phone,however what I like someone else may not.
