Guys I used to have Qtek S100 and while playing audio the battery drains quickly and the back of the phone is extremely hot. Can anyone high light the fact and tell us if this is the problem due to Pocket PC or it was just S100?
Please do let us know your true experience, if any of you used Pocket PC for long long music playback!!!

slimberry, 28 Oct 2008Hi guys, does anyone else feel the way I do? I want to buy ... moreyes, the experia is the name of the new range of phones to run alongside the walkman and cybershot product lines. x1 denotes the first of the experia range, each new phone will be vastly different from the last but will be grouped under the experia branding. So ecpect the x2 to be very different.

not sure about to be honest. will be a couple of months before people can form true opinions about this phone when they have used this phone day in day out.
the only issues i can see this phone MAY have is sms texting could be a pain due to bringing the keypad out everytime and the 400mb could slow the phone down
due to its windows os but lets just see in a few months.

Yes Pete, you can make your computer use the X1 as a 3G modem via bluetooth to connect your computer to the internet. Another option is to set up the X1 as a WLAN hotspot using software like http://www.wmwifirouter.com/ or http://www.walkinghotspot.com/ and connect your computer to that WLAN to get access to the internet.

                  Many options exist.

Do any one hold X1? How is that? Is the battery better than HTC-Diamond I waiting for it too. The price is too a bit high.

Hi guys, does anyone else feel the way I do? I want to buy this phone no matter what. Will almost be the same as couple of weeks of my salary!!!! But I still want it!
But I don't like the fact that SE called this phone Xperia X1 (not just Xperia). So do they (SE) obviously have plans for X2, X3??

also am i able to use the X1 as a bluetooth modem to get my laptop online??
                        Many thanks in advance

Hi i work for carphone warehouse in a contact centre and had an hours training on the device with the SE rep. It blew me away, its an iphone beater and although they only have several panels avialable to demo, the technology looks superb. The screen is plasma and looks amazing, its expensive and hence will be harder to sell but i'll be recommending it. The keypad feels solid and easy to use and has bevelled keys which make use easy. Sure the camera is a modest rating but its better than the much celebrated iphone's which has stood still for two handset releases and still manages to overcome such a stigma. Watch this space, it will likely need a few software patches but it looks to be an amazing handset to really launch sony ericsson's new product line.

I like to see xperia x2 without keyboard. I hate sliding mechanism and physical keyboard. With touchscreen you don't need keyboard.

                              BUT
why SE used HTC to manufacture this phoen?
cant they do it themselves ?
But for me Sony Ericsson and Samsung are the best phones till date
