NO more waiting for X1......i gonna get something else...been too long....by the time this phone release...tons of better out there....you may have this phone for 2 months then better phone on market....hahhha...SE should release now or else you have to WAR with tons of others phone in the next 2 months.

Hey guys, Xperia has been released at GITEX in Dubai and its costs Dhs.3400!
I think it should be avaialable in the markets now!

Well done SE! I have waited for this phone for such a long time now that I'm used to it (waiting I mean). So now I shall rather wait for the rumoured HTC Touch HD pro to come out (it doesn't seem to take a year for HTC to get a rumoured phone into the market, but that actually seems to happen quite fast) rather than buy this handset that will be "old" spec-wise some two months after it'll finally be launched...
And a very special thank you to SE for these very latest delays in getting the phone into market. Without them I might not have heard anything about HTC's recent developments in time, and I would have made a big mistake buying X1.
Won't come as a big suprise if Sony shall put an end to the cooperation with Ericsson in a very near future.

HI guys you must know xperia x1 is not slow at all...x1 is slow just in panels transition but x1 apllication operation is very fast...
i know that the panel transition is slow because there are 9 panels are active = you run 9 applications at 1 time...but in overall, x1 is great device!!

528mhz vs 208mhz
256mb RAM vs 128mb
So, xperia is way faster than w960.

Hey guys, X1 might come out by oct 27th, cross your fingers and pray...it very nice phone for SE THIS TIME...but kinda cost too much, any idea what fone service will works for this fone?

Its out now in Sweden (home of Ericson) and will be out later for the rest of world. There will also be versions for 900mhz UTMS (euro and asian version) while the normal version is the 850mhz UTMS for America (AT&T)
Austra will get the 850mhz version (Telstra NexG) which i'm not happy about as I want 900mhz version for Optus

just wait 4 the 5800 its much betta than xperia windows mobile is pathetic on a fone makes it lag n that so just make u hate the fone 5800 uses s60 symbian n u get brillant games n apps n that n u end up loving the fone

There is one major difference between Nokia and SE phones.
Nokia - better features
SE - better build quality
You never see Nokia high-end N series using high-quality materials. They are all very cheap and plastiky.

A PHONE was never meant to be a DIGITAL CAMERA. I'm sure this phone will offer exceptional picture quality and will be more than enough for taking quick pictures. If your looking for a CAMERA PHONE, then you should really take a look at the SE C905.
