Anyone know which bluetooth headset they'll be using with the X1? I have been using the DS970 for about 2 years and it's held together with cellotape, so new phone = new headset.

Thor, 12 Oct 2008actualy battery is amazing. nut thrue not because of standb... moreFor moderate use in the touch pro the battery will last for about 26 hours. That means two days of use, as I switch it off at night.
With 45 min youtube, 20 to 25 min phone calls, and sync e-mails three or four times a day ans listning to audio for about 1 hour, it lasts for 26 hours as stated.
I think if I use the push e-mail, it will last for one full day, 14 hours or little more.

the price without a contract.. unlocked is about $800-900 usd! ... thats a lot >.>..

the reason why its taking much longer than the "release" date was because thats when it got shipped...

SE recalled the phone -__-" that it should be back by the end of the month..
Thats what a local retailer told me.

Far too late.....
They should have made it available long ago.
Of course this phone is in the upper class, but who will buy it when you can have the Nokia 5800 two or three times cheaper ?
I bet SE will stop making phones next year, their losses are too big

Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970I think it's a concept phone. I think the release date is a long-running joke by Sony. Sony would never release such a phone with a 3mp camera, limited screen capability and slow processor.

I have Nokia E90 and 1500Mha is MINIMUM.
I suceeds to last for a whole day, even the days i use it a little more, though if i go to UMTS it doesn't even last a day. So imagine how i would feel on HTC diamond, which has 33% less batery or worse than my Nokia right now. Evem HTC Touth Pro is a little worse in that respect.
Being conected to Push email all day, to MSN all day+1 hour chat or more just eats a lot of battery. But i am happy as far as it hold whole day. Sometimes 2 days if i don't use it much.
For me X1 has only one small error. keyboard is worse than mine on E90...

It IS a good phone but wont last for a compelet 3 days of one battery charge.use the phone first before you make any comments,cause i did........
I dont understand whats the WOW thing about 1500battery power for PC,In fact its weak and you will see it.Look back to NOKIA E90,has the same 1500battery power and you get to use the same screen to function the phone,means the big screen of it works often as needed,and though NOKIA didnt post that much unreasonable standby time as SE did which has touch screen and more screen pixels.
NOTE:
Even NOKIA posted standby time isnt perfectly real,samsung too.

To me THIS is the true iPhone killer.
I know the iPhone-fans will throw me thousand reasons why Apple rules and SE sucks, but the lack of a REAL keyboard is the biggest mistake of Apple.

I can't wait for the X1 Pro to be released. It will have a better screen, can take a bigger memory card, 10mp camera, quicker processor, fingerprint recognition (where the current D-pad is) and digital television receiver.

Looking at the demos on YouTube the phone seems a bit slow -why couldn't they put a quicker chip in it, better screen display, a better camera and have it take a huge mem card? I reckon Sony suck -even though I am a Sony freak.

Its already release in middle east.i bot for AED 3200.The interface is slow & touchscreen function not that good.But its expensive...
