I just don't understand why SE likes to show off their new phones and make their customers wait for a very long time.
Most of their high end phones take months or even more than a year before they get launched. And the first batch are buggy ones.
This is why I switched from SE to Nokia and Motorola.
All the waiting, then the product fails to deliver. Like my K850i, which was a total flop.

Why do we have to agree with you? Afterall it's SE's product and business, they can do whatever they want with it for whatever reason. If you disagree what can you do? Sue them? Burn their office? The only thing you can do is leave them alone and buy Nokia...and of course keep nagging about SE on this forum. Call me defending SE again, I don't give a damn...

Expensive at start,but now the best in its category! Screen size/sharpness,battery life, functions etc.Mp4 player,when watching a clip,u can go directly to a specific scene, just with a finger touch!
P990 - Xperia SE the best!

yes that is right but actually they have x1 stock but they wont sell it early they have a date their selves to sell x1..oh yeah where is your location? it is important to know that se hasnt stock the x1 in UK, Germany and swedia and ofcourse it take much time to send x1 to the country stores..

No need to hurry, 03 Oct 2008Respect to htc as some of the x1 applications/software r fr... moresorry you are wrong..htc is just ODM (Manufacture) and SE make x1 applications, Yes X1 use wm os but it doesnt mean all part of x1 was made by htc, you know motorola and samsung use wm os too..SE has competence to make multimedia part like walkman, cybershoot, vga video ect so does htc have these device applications on their phone right now? X1 use wvga resolution at first then htc hd after, does it mean htc follow x1 step?

Respect to htc as some of the x1 applications/software r from them,X1 & htc cousins,whereas i prefer & will buy the X1..... in 6 months....!

1. In february,SE tried to tell you what the x1 look like and not about the date where the x1 will be sold by stores.SE just shared their innovative news to you...
2. The x1 was announced in february, it was not finish product(only 30%) so SE must finish the x1 for 8 months then they stocked the x1 to the stores in 30sept..it is not as easy as make a cake..it is premium device that take much time to make it.
3. there was a agreement between SE and HTC that HTC want sell diamond at first because HTC know that x1 is a great phone so if SE sell x1 at first, HTC to be not confident of diamond sales then SE lets htc sell diamond first but htc is not satisfied of diamond sales then they tried again to make phone like HTC touch pro then HD...it made the x1 release date to be so long.

This will be a good phone, as we all know sony ericsson camera and music is good, and for thisphone the video capturing is video(VGA@30fps)also. if we looking to the OS it is WM,and by creating the panels they made the OS more user friendly.i really love this phone.

The true test I am interested here is if SE can keep their battery track record. I have no use for phones that lasts a day or 2 max.
Phones needs to last on business trips without constant charging. When I roam around I mostly have lots of time, but not a lot of charging points.

Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970There is a HTC Touch Diamond in the office today. It's a nice phone, but I'm SE for life for a few reasons.
How about we take a little wager about which battery lasts longer. It will have no merit as the X1 isn't in everybody's hands yet and who could ever predict without a test who's battery will last longer ;)

I sincerely hope that you are all children whining about the release dates shifting, because if you are adults I'll face palm myself for all the childish whining I see here.
If you have ever had a good SE phone, you'll know, "SE for life".The latest model is an absolute gem so just wait until it arrives.
Those who posted "taking too long, I'm getting another handset" go right ahead.
You haven't had enough crappy phones in your life yet and I believe you'll only learn from mistakes.
For the SE for life people... Can't wait to enjoy this phone with you guys. Everybody that have been waiting for the perfect all rounder...this is it :)
