Windows Mobile is a minefield for the average user Unfortunately they just don't understand how flexible it is. How many reviewers increase the pagepool?probably 1 out of 10!Increasing the file system cache increases operational speed no end.

Anonymous, 29 Sep 2008sony experia x1 will officially be launched in january 2009... moreNot true, not true, not true. This has been confirmed many times now. There WAS something on SE's site that said jan 2009, but they've admitted themselves that this was an error. I'm not sure where you're getting your info, but it definately AIN'T official...

Just click on the advanced search button in the top right of the website. It's got loads of check boxes and drop-down menus to sort through phones by feature, OS etc.

Indonesian, 29 Sep 2008Hi Indra, Thanks for your thoughts. For marketing issue:... moreon xperia has 2 systems but combined that means you can use these systems at 1 time..when you active a panel and also you can run 6.1 WM mobile OS. A panel can be made freely by developers with wm os based or SE system based and on a panel will have differ design and UI look.X1 has 9 panel at x1 home screen so it means you can get differ nine UI on each panel like WM OS UI look, 3D Touch floo UI look even it's posible developers from 3rd party like xda make Androit UI look on a x1 panel..Developers freely design their application to be a panel.actually there are many panels you can download freely in SE site. The panels are not application shortcuts but a panel is a desktop and on a the desktop or panel there are many applications and has differ UI with the others panel.

SE considered about amount of color but SE use wm OS so the color is limited but the colors is very effective. 16M colors is expensive device and actually the colors cant use at all and there is no object can reach the colors as much as 16M colors on the phone screen so the rest is wasted but you spent much money for the device so SE dont let you waste your money for device can enjoyed at full quality then SE prefer to use WVGA resolution screen, it makes the screen and colors look sharp, clean and clarity then you can watch VGA video an picture at the best quality. features on x1 can be upgraded continuely by developers so there is no reason to say there is not many features on x1.

For marketing issue: I do not have any doubts of your opinion. But Am still sure that SE have already made a mistake by not launching X1 a.s.a.p, particularly when SE'd like to launch it at the highest price. SE should add other features, ex: more screen colours, bigger HD, etc?
We'll see it anyway. I may do have wrong opinion.

For your opinion of SE system: You said that SE allow any third party/developer to use its system. Do SE use Windows Mobile for its OS? Or do you mean another "system"?
