This is only a suggestion but do you think gsmarena should re catagorise its site to seperate each fone more,,for example smarfones only ,,camera orientated fones only,,camera orientated fones with superb video capabilities,top music fones only,,budget talk text only so people can get thru the heap of fones on offerr
Ive had a mobile 10 years 1 month now and fone releaes usually were made to increase funtionality or to make smaller or a change was made more when gprs fones entered market or camerafones entered..Now its a fone a day BUT most are the same thing in a different shell..I love mobiles i am addicted to the devices and perhaps a geek but i am not a gamer,,BUT,,i am starting to lose track now of them all because i cannot keep up and have to resort to a graph with ticks to get a jist of all the fones to see which is next especially as my contract is up in 2 months..
It really is minefield and i get mixed up now as to wat fone does have wat feature..I hope some of you regulars reply or have a suggestion ,you could delete 30-40 fones in each manufacturer as they are same model jazzed up at no cost and sold as brand new at top price with same innards,,getting to confusing and then theirs tarriffs arrrrrgh

I have Touch Cruise, but I would buy this phone if it would have 5M camera with flash and 3.5" display with the same resolution.

sony experia x1 will officially be launched in january 2009 due to technical faults..
no point waiting for it. just go for the touch pro or blackberry bold instead.

X1 will not initially come with flash lite 3.0 but will be updated in the future.

folks at GSMArena, please update your specs. X1 has already 384Mb RAM!
now show me a WM phone that has this kind of hardware: WVGA screen (with the highest DPI) + 528Mhz 7200a(not the weaker 7201a) 384Mb ram (Touch HD and Touch Pro only have 288Mb) + VGA 30Fps video + 3mp with Led flash(can be used as torch out of the box). also X1 comes with 4gb microSD so the 4gb thingy that HTC diamond boasts is now lambasted :P

why no motion sensor?
i don't think there is any motivation for developer using X1 SDK compare to iphone and android
and, beside Xpanel, this phone is nothing~

Spencer didn't mention how easy it is to apply a registry edit to adjust the pressure threshold thus making the touchscreen as responsive as need be.I think it's fair to assume a system tweak app will be developed for those who are uncomfortable with editing the reg themselves

SE and HTC are friend, we have many strategies to make a phone and SE just try to fullfil what you need. SE is doing so much on X1 they increased X1 RAM, use WVGA screen also let developers to make application on X1 system it’s SDK panel developer and many more, it means each panel has differ design, application and developer so it’s possible on one panel has 3D touch floo UI look from 3rd party developer like XDA..X1 is flexible and can be upgraded time by time, it’s different with HTC touch series, HTC don’t let developers use their system. If you are bored at one UI on a panel you can choose the others panel what you like then you can add many panels in SE developer site so you will always feel that you have a new phone every day with new UI design and system on a new panel and with 384 MB RAM, you can play video smoothly and run many applications at one time or with WVGA resolution screen you can watch VGA video and see your pictures at the best quality.
SE is very consistent about release date, it’s 30 sept ,yes in that day we stock x1 at stores but when the stores will sell the x1 it’s depend on their strategy business not us, they make a date their selves to sell x1.
SE add Multimedia side too on X1 like VGA video at 30fps, great music device and good camera quality with photo flash but HTC Touch diamond, pro and HD doesn’t have these devices.

I hope that when this arrives it is good as it looks. I waited so long for the P990i and was so disappointed with that phone. I like WinMo phones for software availability but they just don't have the look these days. So many new designs have such high graphic content that WinMo now looks dated.

hey guys... i have no idea when exactly it will come out in UK and US but obviously i got my set from Axiom Plus which is one of the biggest mobile phone retailers in the world and the warranty is also from axiom. As i said its not officialy launched here i got it through a friend who is working there. The screen is exactly the same like its shown in Youtube. its not as fast as iphone but much faster then HTC.

I saw this phone's features and it seems very decent .I also like its design,I know 3.15 mp is under professional standards,but still if you want real photographs get a camera...I'd really like to check its software to see if it's lagging or not ,can any HTC/smartphone bearer tell me if this model can be better than one of those models? Thanx,and also,if you're into swearing just call someone else retard..

Why is all the clips about the X1 on YouTube only talk about the stupid panels, I get the whole panel idear big deal, what I want to see is the rest of what X1 has to offer. Dose anyone know where there is a better in depth look at the phone? for a prototype phone there seams to be a lot of them out there.
