SE Xperia x1-The first and the last at the same time. But how it is possible?
Sony Ericsson Xperia X1 will be the last Windws Mobile phone from Sony Ericsson !Howard Stringer (a Brit of Welsh origins) who is the first non-Japanese CEO of Sony - Japanese corporation after all - in latest interviews expressed doubts whether Sony Ericsson joint-venture will survive next few years, notably because cooperation between Sony (responsible for stylish design and user friendly ergonomics) and Ericsson (responsible for high-tech telecommunications) is not going so good as it was only 2 years ago...So Sony Ericsson XPeria X1 phone may be actually the last Windows Mobile phone from Sony Ericsson and in future it may be called only "Ericsson XPeria X1" because is considering to withdraw from mobile phone market altogether.

LOL. Would we still be alive when that time comes, or would cellphones even be used when that time comes, lol.

Anonymous, 28 Aug 2008duh!everyone knows that. Most WM fans also know HTC have bee... moreTHats what ive said from day one that htc has a lawsuit against them for what seems to be deliberate de-activation of its graphics bits,,this was the cause of stuttery video playback most people were experiancing..HTC excuse was that you were getting a good function phone and would not activate that bit of the phone..Whether its solved now i dont know but thats why i was for xperia as it did involve the whole experiance of the smartfone with what appeared to be NO limitations on board...Some thought that is why xperia is late as they where getting the 30fps vga video sorted and could not and thats why HTC did not implement it in their phones because they could not get it working..Whats really happening is that the panes are being sorted out and going thru final checks because most panes in earlier videos had no app behind them it was just a facade..
Not far off now,, the camera is well capable of 6x4 inch prints and will take up less memory and be processed quicker on phone and to earlier question the xperia should handle 32 gb cards when they arrive but that wont be till next year at earliest i have not got a 16gb card yet.
On another note if this fone had 8mp i would still put it down to 2 or 3 megapixels as these resolutions are spot on for a camfone..

ian, 28 Aug 2008I agree, the more problem, that makes Xperia much powerfull... moremmm is it more powerful than the Samsung Omnia? i can't decide which to get, though 32 gig of memory in the Omnia, 5 meg camera, and the fact the wait is over for purchase is really tempting me? What to do What to do?

i think they increased the RAM to eliminate any lags...... moreI think the panels would be there for sure because there is a dedicated botten for lunching them.Don`t worry about that.
Any way>How much would it cost?

After consulting with MS SE insisted on a 256MB RAM module.Windows Mobile has been dragged through the dirt and it's largely due to HTC selling under spec'd PPC's.HTC has made numerous models with insufficient RAM.Microsoft now plays a stronger hand in determining the end users experience

There`s no use about talking about release date!so why don`t you guys discuss about something else?
I have a question>Why did they change the RAM from 128 to 256?(that was a good news but were there any problem?)may be the problem still exists!
