I've heard from a reliable source that this phone will be released very, very soon. But not for sale to the public, but directly to a museum, HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

I actually discussed the release date of this phone with a reliable source. I was told it may be released in a few weeks, for about 700-800 CDN

But some of the review here below state that the loudness of the speakers are are good enough for them and the speed also

An adapter from SE port to 3,5 is not that hard to find (and not that pricy). 3,5mm is the standard for PC/mp3 audio output/input anyway so it was a good idea to switch to that, props. The SE mini speakers were of very good quality though, but the offer in 3,5mm portable speakers is 5 times as big. And using your phone battery for your portable speakers, that just doesnt seem that convenient to me (Batt empty in 2 hours)

so they have changed the ports again,, i trust you in your answer as i heard your answers before so all that i can do and others is to use the s/e speakers is to look for a third party adapter..Its great you can just plug in these mini speakers and give a punchy output for a bedroom with no hassle as the amp runs off phone battery and is good for handsfree speaker boost..

And Bengalboy an Smape review are saying that the one is fast enough for them and what they used was a proto:)

IT only has a led flash as far as i know but at least youve got a torch and i use that function as well to go to shop at night and for any other activity thats needs a bit of light,,again its not a dedicated torch but its with you all the time..

Sony Ericsson announced it as a Q4 launch back in Feb, and it's due around the first two weeks of October in the UK.
I've had a play with it and it seems to be a very good phone!

i am now reading that there is the experia 2 already on its way out (potentially) so why get 1?
sik phone though best features of any out there I have tilt and fm radio, slimmer and faster all sold me

mohammad, 24 Aug 2008I believe SONY didn't release the phone as promised because... moreI was buzzing today and cannot wait to put xperia to test..Today i have been touching up again on ppc and its system as i am much more familiar with symbian and their is so much you can do even to the point of tweaking it to run faster or it seems and modyfying nearly all the smartfone except the hardware bits..Altho what ive said sounds good i would not feel confident to try most stuff and is more for proffesional knowledgable persons but you can diplay almosy anything you want on the homescreen and this spb software group of people do lots of good stuff,,i only know about 5% of what ive seen and their are 1000 of bits of software and altho quite new to the ppc it seems a bit more complex and mature than symbian,,BUT,,hey its their to learn experiment and have fun with..

I believe SONY didn't release the phone as promised because some bugs bubbled up as this phone presents the first Windows mobile experience to SONY. In any case, wish Xperia had 5MP camera instead of 3.2MP one. Above all, I am desperately waiting the day at which we will have it available in stores nearby.
