Why wait for the X2 when you can buy the X1, use it, & then buy the X2 if u think it is worth it.

My guess is these are just knock-offs. Wouldn't touch them with a barge pole.

but i dont believe this...
i do... moreby june 2007 you could be dead and you have to make the most of whats coming out this year or you will carry on forever,,,by time xperia x2 is here so will a load of new devices on way plus x3 and are you then going to say wait for x3,,lifes is too short,, my dad is 67 now and he hopes to see next olympics (2012 london) and maybe on the mobile if uk gets its act together for when our analogue gets swithched off & they launch dvb-h..but hes not going to sit in the chair till then hes using some cash to go to austria,,then paint house etc...
So in short you have to live your life with whats on offer now or in next few months because you will end up waiting for ever

My contract is about to expire so I contacted Vodafone UK asking if they would be supporting/stocking the Xperia X1.I was somewhat surprised yet overjoyed when the Voda rep stated the Xperia X1 will be available from early October.

in sept will be the XPERIA X1
XPERIA X2 will come around june next year
with WM7

Bad News
X1 wont be released as local agents said in SL.
Even I`ve been waiting for this phone a long time,
SE was very slow in competing with nokia in technology cos you know in Nokia s60 and above devices has a task manager to switch between applications, also s6o devices support word,excel,power point & adobe where you find these in SE phones very rare ie.p990 p1 devices the other models doesnt even the K850i didnt.
The HSDPA was released late in SE phone models when comparing with nokia.
When coming to camera quality & sounds SE is the Best.
I was very happy when they announced Xperia X1i with windows mobile SE did an Intelligent decision.
After my i mate screen went off i tried to buy a SE with office apps & HSDPA which is still to date not available in SE models. Thats very bad news for SE.
So I had to go for the nokia 6120 classic which has both. I connect to the net using it as my modem with my HSDPA package which is very faster.
I was eager in getting the x1 for its futures. 256ram + more phone memory ie atleast 1 gb, + flash would've been much better.
***************What to Do*************
Today morning I checked with the SE staff here in sri lanka in the morning then I was shocked ,
They told its a failure model & they wont be importing it. Infact it has been stopped in manufacturing.They will come with another model without bugs it seems. May be X2
I dont know how far it is true? But when there is no news from SE officially about the release date it makes me think it is true.
WHY SE its SHAME ON YOU.
SE Announced it with proud.
Keep us waiting this long and left us with nothing.
I read the Bengal Boy review, as far my conclusion is.
it is ok with his comments.
SE say officially, whether it will come or not.
Then we can switch to another one.
VERY BAD SonyEricsson.

Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970i think that htc touch pro can 't be compared to se xperia...as a nokia fan bought the simple touch diamond last month and sold it 15 days ago...nice functions but not so easy to use and battery lasts nothing...i will choose between n96 nokia and xperia and i will never buy some other brand except these two...

Great phone, but as usual for Sony, last to arrive. After the original Walkman, Sony decided that being last is best. Why, why, why Sony? You did it with MP3,LCD TV and PS3. I can't wait for thee, so it's off to HTC. Oh, poor me.
