..word on the street is that the X1 is scheduled for release sometime in September. Have been doing a lot of research and found that the X1 is actually being called the iPhone's direct-competitor as far as entertainment/productivity/interface - just hoping it won't price itself out of the market...

having a standard pair of headphones is convenient anyway because you can use them with multiple appliances.
and bluetooth headphones are nevr going to be better than normal wired ones because some the sound transferred gets mixed up with interference and not all of it makes it.

the xperia is only a bit thicker than my d900 yet packs all this spec into it,,thats a marvel in itself never mind the 3.5mm jack ..Its getting nearer to being available and altho it has its doubters its going to sell lots and will cause a big stir when its launched you will see.

Using a 3.5mm jack is what s/e should have done originally in their walkman mobiles,,its just another step in the right direction..I have not used bluetooth headfones yet either but any recommendations are welcome,,i always thought they were expensive...3mp is perfect for 6x4 inch snaps using the lenses on mobiles today.....

I have never used as yet bluetooth headfones neither has anyone i know but i suppose i should try some before making any comment on them..As far as i know battery life in the fone will be reduced considerably and audio quality is reduced in more ways than one as the mp3 is always reduced enuf in audio qualiy already..
Just be thankful a proprietry connection is not used as some third party proprietry connectors to 3.5mm jack void the handsfree option

the lack of 3.5mm jacks is why the walkmaqn range are so terrible and inconvenient. the one time SE get it right, and you want it removed??
deary me. and bluetooth headphones? who uses them? more demand on battery and poorer quality.
