just saying that having a standard headphone jack is a waste. Sony's better off not putting it on and ruining the look. Use bluetooth headphones and that takes care of the "problem".

Better they will release it as it is now then come in November with patches for firmware. Bad management in SE, they will get down, people got used with weekly fixes for Windows; SE doesn’t probably know how much tolerant Windows users can be.

This is an excellant Phone and I am looking to buy it but when is the release . I have been waiting for it and now HTC has also got a very close specs .If SE delays tolong they will be replaced by others and the market is reduced for SE. Please release urgently

I hope SE will not release this phone anymore... I've waiting for this fone for a loooong time... I don't know what strategy SE is planning, but this phone will not have a big impact anymore when it is release. I have decided to buy another brand. SE always behinde the competetion... SE wake up!! all you new phone designs are no longer revolutionary and look so ordinary, cannot impress me with the design anymore. You must learn Samsung and LG, always come out with unique and very nice designs. Sorry, this is just my opinion... I was a die hard SE phone from year 2000 but tried other brand in 2007 after getting tired of waiting, seeing same old design and lack of other fones feature. Im no longer SE fan.

When somebody gives you 3.2 its already heaven sent! People nowadays are so f#ck up with specs. If given 3.2mp cam, you've ask for 5. Equipped with 5, you cry out 8! Since you wish for it, why not just make one for yourself!

Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970What kind of windows mobile did your friend have,,most windows only had or have 64mb of ram or below in the majority of models and that is a cause of freezing,,but my n82 crashes in music player sometimes..
The xperia comes with 4 times the amount of ram but if you press too much at once like any comp it will freeze,,stick or crash,,,nothing new their..Ive had n95 and sold it cause of battery and bought n958gb but it cut in to my hands when txting one handed and resolution was poor with qvga at 2.8 inch screen hence buying n82...Now to your n96 its got nowt new over n82 as n82 takes 32gb card when available and dvb-h is not available here in uk plus lowr battery and back to 2.8 inch screen so thats my reply to your opinion but you go for your n96 you will be bored of it after a while,,thats why i am going for xperia as a brand new challenge else just buying the same old thing year after year.....

Maybe the SE site forgot to update it.

on the sony ericsson website it says that the phone weighs only 145grams but on these specifications it says its 158 grams ??????????

Well, I've been a fan of Nokia before... But when I got my hands for Sony Ericssons it was unforgettable. Sony is very good in making nice interfaces and customizable features, phone sizes are comfy and hardware is topnotch. SE Xperia is the phone that can be a serious deal breaker with the Iphone. just check out the specs guys! I would I buy one if It will be available here in the Philippines. For the meran time I'm using a Walkman series of Sony Ericsson. Sony keep it up!!

Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970I'm in favor for the se x1 because the bigger screen and the 3.5 mm jack. as for the TV out maybe you can I'm going to try plugging it throw the 3.5mm jack for the nokia n95. then we got the looks I think the xperia is more modern than the htc witch gives you a Rader classic look. finally the interface in time you'll probably get tired of touchflo 3D yet the xperia panels are customizable.
I've posted on the diamond vs omnia review that i hope GSMarena compare between the SE X1 htc pro.
any ways I personally will wait for the xperia

If you like to watch movies, surf web and use your own headset for music, xperia is the way to go as it has a wide screen ideal for movies and 3.5mm jack best for music.
If you are mainly into more typing and TV-out is a must, Touch Pro is better. I cant say about the comfort of the keyboard but touch pro has a 5 row keyboard which is better. Other than that, Xperia can record videos at VGA 30fps while Touch Pro can only record at CIF 30fps.
And i hope every 1 will agree with me that Xperia looks way much better than the Touch Pro.
Now, its upon you whether which special feature of these phones is a deal breaker or maker for you.
