Too late. When announced it sounded great. But that was last year ;) Now we got HTC diamond and TouchPro coming in a month, iPhone 3g. And x1 strange resolution screen (800*480) which looks great but try to open TomTom or other application (see toshiba portege g900 and g910/920). SE already lost this battle.

Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970before you complain this phone you must know that this phone is in development also omnia and iphone...nobody knows who will get the best features and not all phone which will be released first has bad features...each phone has weakness and diff inovation so buy a phone what you like, i think 528Mhz, 256 MB RAM, 512 MB ROM, touch screen, qwerty keypad, Mega pixels camera picture or VGA resolution video on WVGA resolution screen, 7.2 MBps HSDPA are more than enough..
what are the 500000MP camera and VGA resolution video for, if the camera screen is just QVGA resolution and if the screen is more than WVGA so it is no application for it. In other word Xperia WVGA resolution screen is the best resolution and ideal right now...

SE having some software problem ... hopefully this phone will be available 3rd Quarter.

oh damn! the colors topic again,iam bored...
before you talk about colors you must know what you want first...if you want to have bright, deep and sharp colors, objects and everything on the screen so it is resolution screen quality not amount of colors...colors that will be showed on the screen depend on how much color of object has so the question is :
is there an object has colors as much as 16 million colors variation ? your house ? your car ? you painted them with 16 million color variation ?so you think there is 16million color variation on your phone ? how can you see them ?

Eddie, 24 Jun 2008Anybody noticed the 65K color, ONLY, screen?? why the P1i a... moreThe p900,,p9i0 etc are uiq touchscreen symbian smartfones...The xperia as in specs is running windows mobile 6 pro and can only support 65k colour pallette or 16.7 million colours,,,as the majority of software is 65k and 16 million colours taking up more power they always opt for 65k screens..I am using palm treo 500v to get the jist of windows and that screen is more brighter and colourful than my n82 yet only 65k my n82 is 16 million...I have said before that when i had the samsung d900i then bought g600 the d900i had more richer colours than the g600 using the same wallpaper yet the d900 has only 262k as opposed to the g600 16 million ????
When nokia released the 6630 it had 65k and people moaned so nokia brought out the 6680 with 262k colours and their was no difference in colours at all...This was the fact that people where using the same wallpapers and software written at 65k so had no effect but even so i think its the quality of the lcd display and the blacks that should be black,,,one such screen was on my moto v6 maxx which had perfect blacks and the screen was made by Sharp...
So dont bother about colour you will get a much sharper picture by increasing the pixel count per inch than a boost in colour specs i think..

I have started with P800,900,910,990,P1i and Iam hoping for this one too, but....

The only units that people ... moreObviously no one has final production what I'm getting across is that he said no could rate the phone cause its not out.. umm it is out not the final production but it is. They do have in austriala parts and parts of asian all those models they use for testing. The has have a couple pre production models in holland and they are close to the final product.

The 16GB micro sd should be available by the time xperia is on sale so thats another thing to look fosward to
