Why you people are comparing AUDI (Nokia) to the BMW (Sonyericsson) in my opinion both brand are good and one that is telling about VGA video of N95 see watching video on a low-resolution TV is one thing watiching it on a LCD TV is other thing VGA Contain 0.3 MPixels if you watch it on a 26" or big higher resolution TV then you will jump from a building but viewing it 20" TV will not make video look bad i don't belive on you that it look horrible on 14" Display currently its the best video phone.

Anonymous, 03 Jun 2008As I've said, it was in one of the reviews that I've read t... moreabout bug problem, how do you know it ? i said Xperia you saw on videos was prototype / demo to give people a information of what x1 look like, it's not xperia power or at least x1 is in developing...and will be better than before..so you cant complain this xperia before it's released..but hey..how can N95/N96 is better than xperia, although there is higher device quality on N95/N96 but xperia has more higher device qualities than the nokia phones right now.

xperia is the first step for SE and good for the first. For me, xperia is enough and not dispointed me because it qualities so if you a neutral guy, you should accept the technology of this phone and no phone's perfect...you must know actually we never compare xperia with nokia phones before but Nokia fans did first so we must protect this phone from uneducated person just ruin this forum site...

Anonymous, 03 Jun 2008You are not seeing the logic to what I am saying. The Tube... morehi bro..i know what you mean but about N96, it should has lower price than Diamond because N96 has lower quality than Diamond then if N96 is more expensive than diamond so how about with N tube price that you said it will has higher quality than Xperia and diamond, maybe tube will be very expensive...wow!!! Tube doesn't influence me although tube has many high qualities...tube will be announced next year so you should compare tube with a phone which will be released next year too..maybe Xperia X2 etc...

Diamond and Xperia are basicaly the same thing with minor changes here and there. Yes the Xperia has a slightly wider screen - the thing is, not many programs (WM or not WM), are designed to use the 'extra' screen! HTC is basicaly ready with the Xperia and therefore Diamond is out as we speak! I just hope SE, won't f**k up HTC's and Microsoft work/gains too much - afterall they have a reputation of doing just that (the latest P-series comes to mind). In my opinion SE and Motorola (they have joined hands in UIQ-OS) are on the way down if not out. Nokia, Samsung, HTC and even LG, are on the way UP ! Now this are facts and only a kid/fool will argue otherwise :-)

                        SE #1?????

                        these are the FACTS!!!!!
                        Official DATA!!!

                        Market share for 2008 Q1:

1: ****a has about 40% of the market
                        2: ******g
                        3: *******a
                        4: ** **********s
5: Sony Ericsson has only 7.6% of the market.

By the way, SE lost about 1% (compare to 2007)

92% of consumers think they better off with a NOT SE phone.

By the way, while SE looses market share Korean companies gain - BIG TIME - up to 50%!!!

Those who like it, BUY IT! Those who don't like it, BEAT IT! Why try to convince us NOKIA is better. Nokia is good when not comparing with SE phones. SE #1 beyond the shadow of doubt.

Anonymous, 03 Jun 2008One minute your declaring this device is a HTC the next it'... moreI think you got it all mixed up buddy. For there's no one here declaring that the X1 is an HTC device, although SE did partner w/ HTC in its development. All I'm saying is that SE fans are way too arrogant on their claims on a device that's not even out yet. Same would also apply to Nokia fans who put down the X1, when who knows, it could come out as the better phone. But for now, it is predictable that the N96 would do really well because of its predecessor's success, the N95. The Diamond also just came out, and is really building up a very good reputation so far and is living up to its expectations. Just got mine today and I can't wait to get home and open the box. As for the X1, its beta models on YouTube are sluggish and not quite the performer when you compare it even with the Diamond's beta models. Sorry, but that's the truth. SE needs to do something QUICK.

You would end up charging it at the end of the day, but it did well. I think on any feature packed phone, if you use it extensively, you would have to charge them every day. So there is an extensive review on the Diamond's battery life, whereas there is none for the X1. So what you have saying that the X1 has better battery life than the Diamond is merely speculation.

Assuming processing accounts for the majority of battery consumption this device should easily out preform units using less efficient processors.

Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970LOL, I'm not even a Nokia or SE fan. I never said anything about Nokia's superiority in general. Just on specific phone model comparisons. You yourself is saying that this phone has not been released yet, but SE fanboys are already making premature claims about the X1 superiority against phones like the N95 or N96, and even the Diamond that's already been released and have proven to work well. Though the N96 is not released yet, we already know how it would perform because there's the N95. The X1 has no predecessor. So SE fans should watch what they're saying until the X1 is actually released. For honestly, the beta versions of the X1 that we've been seeing, sucks.
