how do you know nokia tube will has better quality than X1? it's your assumtion although your assumtion is right but what for ? the price will be expensive too...
there is news today about phone prices..N96 is about $1000+ more expensive than Htc diamond is only about $700...LOL!!
N96 has smaller processor speed, RAM, ROM, no touch screen, no WM OS, smaller HSDPA etc than Diamond but the price is up to $1000+ wow!!! very expensive!!! how about with nokia Tube?? maybe i must to be a rich man to buy Nokia tube which has better quality than Xperia and diamond hahaha...
my opinion about HTC Diamond...i think Xperia is still better than Diamond...look at Diamond..no flash light, no memory slot, no qwerty, smaller RAM and ROM than X1, shorter life battery than Xperia...i think diamond only has 3D touch flo for inovation but X1 will cover it with their panels maybe the panels you saw is dummy panels but you must know xperia is in progressing..how do you know x1 has a bug..is there any official website to prove it ? xperia you saw was prototype and not real x1 power!! for example to explain it look at Diamond can access WM 6.1 and 3D touch floo smoothly, you know diamond use the same processor speed as Xperia and has smaller RAM and ROM than x1 but Diamond is so fast..it means xperia will be faster and better than Diamond later...SE is still developing XPERIA and give developers a chance to upgrade or finish their applications..stop your bullshit assumtion here

Can anyone answer me!
I've used Qteck S100 and as it was WM5, I used to play audio songs but the battery last for only couple of hours and the worst part was it was so hot, does anyone know or used audio/walkman features on any other WM pocket pc???

Just out of interest, why not go for a Windows Mobile device? Symbian is useless as a 'portable computer' when compared to WM5/6. There is a whole world of joy to be had with WM if you want good internet and office type apps, honestly it's miles and miles ahead, and the gap is getting bigger. For every crappy proprietary Nokia app there is like 50 apps for for WM that are 10 times better.
I have a an MDA Vario III and a N95. I enjoy both but if i had to choose one there would be no contest :)
I am very disappointed with symbian though after a couple of years of WM5/6. It's like taking a huge step backwards, but when I require a smaller non business phone of just calls and text and a few photos ,video's to take to the pub and not have to worry about clients not calling me, my N95 is perfect for that
I'm just a bit down on Symbian, the terrible state of affairs regarding decent software has got to me today, i'm spoilt for choice with my MDA. I am pretty well cattered for for both devices, but it bugs me when Nokia market the N95 as a "multimedia computer" not a phone. Yes, great video recording but the MP3 player is a joke.

google android is not coming on this phone, but there are many sony ericsson phones lined up with android, just wait and watch
don't compare HTC diamond with this one, and HTC has nothing to do with Xperia
XPERIA is a brand from Sony ericsson, 100% made by Sony Ericsson of which this is first product called X1 (Brand XPERIA)
only Sony ericsson has guts to bring a phone with
GSM+EDGE (quad band) + UMTS+HSDPA+HSUPA (Quad band)
you guys don't know more complex the hardware, that much amount of time and work it needs to make a right and awesome phone like this

You're comparing the N95 to a device that no one is even sure when it's really going to be available in the market, lol. You mentioned that the N96 has silly flaws, but you should know that one of the main reasons why the X1 is taking so long to get released is because they are having a hard time fixing its bugs. You are biased. As for me, I am not a fan of any phones, if any of those manufacturers come up with a cool phone, I'd be interested. I'm not closeminded like most Nokia and SE fanboys are. I will not limit myself to just one manufacturer like you probably do.

So they would more than likely build a phone that has better specs than the X1. It's not about cancelling or changing your mind, or waiting for better phones to come out. It's about launching a phone so early and releasing it so late, that gives other competitors a chance to launch & release right away phones of similar or even better specs. And that is exactly what HTC did. I had my eyes set on the X1 for quite a while now, but it never came out, then all of a sudden other cool phones came out, so of course I would naturally start comparing. Then I decided to get the Diamond instead of the X1. Simple logic as that.

lol that's true.You need to hack a s60 os9 just to install ahem 'free' apps pmpl Symbian made a big deal about security and look what happens!Then you go to a s60 forum and the users think it's amazing how they've hacked there phone.WinMo has been hacked years ago but it's not so you can install apps,it's so you can customize almost anything you wish.I like the nokia's hardware but with that awful s60 symbian os it's not an option for me.Xperia leads the way...

I've been wanting them to do innovate for a while. I don't mean hair-brained innovation. I mean smart thinking; modifications that I don't know that I need. Proof that the handset developer teams aren't sat on their arses drinking a little too much Nokia kool-aid.
I'm always unbiased.Some Nokia products are excellent.The E90 is oversized but works well. It's reliable, good battery, good facilities and so on.Likewise, the Nokia N95 is a good handset but with stupid stupid flaws
The Xperia x1 is innovative. you can get music on to it with one click, share stuff easily, you can add applications piece-of-piss-style, brilliant.
You can actually do the same with your Nokia Symbian... live-stream , book a flight , use maps, stream video -- man there are TONS of things you can do with add-on applications.The problem with Nokia Symbians is the applications are of a really low standard ,everything feels like a chore,from installation to actually using the under developed program..Give me a powerful WM device every single time.

i read that it was going to be released around September... so its safe to assume like late 3rd quarter or early 4th quarter of this year.... i read it here @

and for those that are complaining about the 65k screen... nothing is wrong with that as hard as it already is, its highly complicated to tell the difference between 65k or 256k or 16m.. also considering the screen is WVGA (800x480) (which is the largest screen on a mobile phone and also makes up for the 65k screen) a 65k screen is ideal for a longer battery life

Excellent piece of info but forgot about x1 for a bit as was looking at lass in green bikini for a good while..How did he get hold of it??? ANyhow it brought back memorys of the p800/900,,i liked the p800 but most said it looked like a fisher price toy but back then it was a powerhouse,,i later bought p900 which was great but sold it for the biggest mistake ever,,the p990i !!
With the xperia being all metal i hope its not going into a price braket no one can afford..I would reccomend a look at bengals blog but be patient with videos to play as it took a while to buffer on my supposed british up to 8meg download speed!!

But it is also a windows mobile so you can put also programms that looks like Safari.
