@Gleb Please don't confuse people in here unnecessarely ! This phone is made by HTC and it is not yet delivered to SE for branding. HTC announced the delivery date as late september early october 2008. Count yourself luck if you can buy it in November. I hope this helps.

I know that here are some wholesalers who are already able to supply the phone directly from Finland. Which means that here are many many items already been produced, but for some stupid reason it is not in the shops yet. So check out Ebay.co.uk in 3-4 weeks. Maybe it will be there. I definitely will do :D

if this xperia is made by HTC so i dont know what it means...why HTC use SE name if they made x1 (HTC xperia x1 and why SE xperia x1) eventhough HTC company name is great..and why HTC upgrade RAM etc on SE phone name and not on their product (HTC diamond), i think it's right that x1 is created by SE and SE pay HTC for manufacturing x1 (ODM) so HTC doesn't have right to label their name on Xperia.look at xperia is have more features and higher devices quality than HTC diamond... like bigger RAM and ROM plus qwerty etc...

I was eager to buy this phone the day since it announced...But looking @ HTC Diamond, icant wait anymore till september and buying Diamond...Compared both phones, dint find much difference, except for card slot and Low battery in diamond...but Its Ok for me...So me going to buy Diamond...If I come to know Xperias date of launch, may be I will think of changing my mind..but as of now, Diamond is in my mind...

Millions of ordinary europeans have never even heard of HTC.Sony Ericsson is a well known brand and can only help in bringing WinMo into the mainstream

You just wanna convince yourself that you're buying an htc not a se. Even if htc did make this phone, and even if se did only make the 3D pannels then why not lose the embarrasment of buying a se and just go for another htc. Thats right, the se touch is too good. Even se hating nick is gonna buy one now.

i like this phone, but i have a big phone and i am tired of big heavy phones, i will go for the diamond. but xperia is the best

$999.00 to preorder? Iphone is $399.
