Thats right. Xperia is upgraded to 256MB RAM instead of 128MB.
Probably the panels consume more memory than we thought. Despite that, i believe 256MB RAM is still too much for a mobile device and that makes me happy :) :) :) :) :)

X1 rules!!!! :)
Gsm arena should change the specs: in the new white paper you can read 256MB RAM (the ROM will be 512MB).
The really good surprise is the battery life. 800 hours (GSM) and 500H (UMTS).
The phone is micro SDHC compatible (so you will be able to put a 12GB or a 16 GB micro SD card)
So if you need a really good phone wait until September-October.

if there is no deal with SE and HTC maybe there is no Xperia, HTC without SE there is no Xperia. in other word, the most important is an idea to create the best phone for serving or making us to be satisfied. i dont mind if xperia made by HTC or not, for me iam happy to buy this phone...combination of the companies ability are good...so what are you fighting for ? if you don't like xperia so don't but this phone and get out from this x1 forum site..STUPID!!! what are you doing here ? you came in the wrong place hahaha

@dxm 65k is NOT a WM limitation. The differences between 65k and 16million colours on a 3inch screen is negligible, hell it not even such a big deal on a 17 inch pc monitor!Remember the xperia has the tremendous WVGA resolution..meaning the screen on the x1 will be absolutely superb.

From the day one i have started using cellular phone, i have only used Sony Ericsson mobile phones from T68i to W580. Waiting anxiously for xperia x1 but still i assume that Sony should be launching a dual sim phone with 5 mega pixal camera in phone like xperia x1. i guess i am in love with sony and very ver brand consious in cellular phone. Guys you dont know what is Sony Ericsson if you like any other cellular phone instead of Sony Ericsson. Luv you Sony Ericsson. Farhan Baig Pakistan. 92 21 333 2199217
