Hmmm I don\'t think HTC will launch the tytn II successor before xperia X1.HTC Diamond is not as good...found this on a website

Here is what is expected at today\'s HTC event:
at least one new Windows Mobile phone announced - HTC Diamond
several mobile operator deals announced - operators that will be selling HTC Diamond either branded or with HTC\'s own brand
(not of interest to us) mobile phones from HTC powered by Google Android
          next generation of HTC\'s extension for improved finger-based navigation - HTC TouchFLO 2 code-name \"HTC Manila\"
release date of HTC Diamond announced - there are rumors that it can be even this month (i.e. May 2008!)
several HTC employees from all over the world, including Taiwan and USA, will be present

WVGA screen is super none of this 320*240 crap that 99% mobiles have been restricted to for years.

I don't understand why foolish ppl just keep complaining and comparing without knowledge and information when whole world knows what sony ercisson is:-

sony's trademark are now synonyms with all like
Bravia, Walkman, Handycam, Playstation,Vaio,Cybershot and now Xperia is also the new brand added to their portfolio of which the latest product is X1.

Ericsson is world leader in Base station infrastructure, so Sony Ericsson knows what they are making and they understand customer's need.

it's ppl who have to understand their potential rather than keep comparing and complaining.

Could you say by looking how many megapixels a digicam has,8M,9M,10M output is all but indistinguishable but megabits sell,so do colours. The average punter knows no better.

LOL 16million colours on a 3 inch screen is no different from 65k on a 3inch screen.Symbian and windows mobile developers acknowledge this fact.16million sounds good and entices people into buying a device. It's all marketing my friend. It's high time consumers demanded higher resolution screens then maybe manufacturers would stop producing lcd's with the horrible QVGA resolution.p990,n81,n82,n95,n96 htc kaiser all have QVGA resolution screens and it's not good enough.

16 million colors does make a difference... A picture which is having a shade looks better with a higher color display...

But TO ALL, X1's 3" WVGA is so damn good that 65k colors doesn't make a huge for it... I doesn't looks bad or lacking in anything, the lack of no. colors on the display doesn't either... I know because I have used X1...

Seriously guys do your research!16 million colours does nothing but drain your battery and put extra load on the CPU.The resolution(pixel count)is the key to a fabulous display. If you can't determine gimmicks from real useful qualities then the Xperia X1 is not for you.

i think its a great buy for the looks, AND the features. it has all basic functions, plus 3g, gprs, qwerty touch pad, hardware qwerty keyboard, inbuilt GPS!, windows 6.1 prof - which is yet the latest by microsoft...it has everythg i wud need...it just depends on the cost, coz i fear it'l go out of my budget.

Simple question: Does X1 have 2nd camera to make 3G call? I can not see where the camera is. I only see 1 camera for taking picture.
                                BR.
