Heloo SE fans any idia about the launch date in Phillipines and how the browser compare toNokia N95 normal and 8GB can we play videos from Youtube on this as my frnd is using Nokia N95 and E90 and both are compatible for the Youtube abd Skypee

SE stole the show obviously rivals will spread vicious rumours! lets concentrate on what has been said Sony Ericsson Corporate Vice President of the Global Communications Aldo Liguori :"I can confirm that we will be launching the X1 product in 2nd Half of 2008, as per our announcement of 10th February."

Heard a VERY worrying rumour that X1 won't be out until early 2009! :-( not that im interested in it but it would be great if it came in like August (Q3) even. But from what ive heard Windows Mobile6.1 is still incomplete,and the X1 itself is not complete either, if all this is true we could be looking at a major flop unfortunetly.
And by the way the N96 and other Symbian S60 phones are also for installing programmes and a bit of tunning,maybe not as much as WM but still.

This phone is not even manufacturing, if you hven+t figured it out phones like this get announced early so they can change what the spect will be, depending on what peophle want this phone to have, so fi you talk how much you want more space ther is a good chance there will be more than 400 MB, as for me i would like something like 2 GB of real fast memory, cause those micro SD, and also that 16GB from nokia N96 will be to die slow.
I have 8 GB Micro SD and when i have 1 GB music it takes 20 secodn to load it all and show it... So boring, so give us 2 GB of killing fast memory plssss, and if posible extended battery wiht 2000-2500 mA would be nice.

I hate info on these new releases when they don't release anytime soon. It makes people lose interest in the phone in my opinion.

Gaj, lest see. n96 is for users that don't want't to spend a lot of tuning it and installing new programs, but instead use it as a cool mobile phone + camera, occasional email and web browsing.
while X1 is for people who wan't to use their mobile phone istead of lappto, be always connected to MSN messenger, read email, have a lot of aplication, and need a lot of time spend to install od the WM goodies on the phone, while occasonaly taking pictures. So thing like email, MSN messenger, forum and stuff typing are only possible on phones with qwerty, like X1.
Which is in truth the first Sony communicator. Like is mine Nokia E90, from which i am typing this comment as a dont' use computer much cause phone with qwerty can be a real laptop, and to tell the truith i hate my symbian, because it is so restricted, lot's of aplications not optimized, like msn Live messenger for Symbian, which mobile has better. and WIFI not working well on symbian, so see you Xperia and WM 6.1, which we can easyli uprade to 7.0 when it comes out, or maybe Google Androif. If there are any microsoft hater haha.
