The biggest failure of X2 is the mega pixel burden that its camera carries. That my take on it

The discussion was never about: X2 or X1, Which is greater? It was about (quoting you) "For all those naive, shallow and inexperienced people who keeps saying that the only advantage that the X2 has over the X1 is the stupid camera, well I have a good respond for you, check this out".
The stupid camera, it seems, is the only positive.

So the discussion was about how you are wrong and that apart from the camera and the screen (which is not that big a difference), X1 and X2 are but similar in all aspects.
And you drifting away from your initial quoted post towards greatness of X2 on just those two aspects (as I have said in the end of my previous post) confirms it.

So whose a "naive, shallow and inexperienced" now.

You were revealing the X1's feature but you could not dare to say that the x1 is better that the X2 because it's not. So, since you said the truth for once in your life. I think it's time to end the discussion ;).

Summary : Although the X1 is a good device and you can modify it to be a better mobile this will never change the fact that the X2>X1. Thanks for clarifying my point ryk and have a good one.

SE, 16 Dec 2009Stop cheating and deceiving people by telling them that the... moreRefuting claims made by a fool who is out of his tiny mind.

1. X1's camera is 3.15Mp which is more usable on a mobile phone cause the pictures taken by it are of smaller mega bytes thus saving the available memory. Also the pictures taken consumes lesser RAM space thus its easier to handle them in a portable device.

2. Video recording is of VGA resolution. Equivalent to most TV broadcast of todays time.

3.X1's keyboard is top of the line, the build quality is fantastic, the keys feel strong and robust whilst also being easy to use. One of the best in business.

4. X1's battery is of the highest capacity ever on a mobile phone. Same as X2's.

5. There are various cooked ROMs available for WinMo 6.5 provided if you want it. Plus you can get every panel of X2 as well as a panel for TouchFlo 3D.

6. Processor of X1 is same as X2.

7. There are 3rd party applications available for DivX/XviD (like Core Player). TV out has almost no or limited use.

8. X1 has the most pixel dense screen on a mobile phone ever. Just minuscule smaller than X2.

9. X1 has xda-developers support thus infinitely more customisation options than X2.

Thus, buying X1 makes more sense. It is one of the most feature rich smart phone available and affordably.

But everybody who likes to have a more pixelled camera or a screen larger than 3" can look for other options.

Respect people by telling them the truth. If you like the x1 because you can't afford the x2 it's fine. But please try to be honest. I also can't blame you because I think your not smart enough and some one convinced you that both devices are the same. However, the fact remains that the X2 is much better than the X1.

1- X2 better camera
2- X2 better video recording
3- X2 better keyboard
4- X2 better battery
5- X2 better speakers
6- X2 has 6.5 wm, the latest wm on the market today.
7- X2 faster processor
8- X2 supports divx/wvid videos and also has a tv-out.
9- X2 bigger screen
10- X2 more panels and more customisation

Conclusion = The X2 is a better device.
You can't deny any of these points that I mentioned because they are true. All you can say is who cares if the screen is bigger who cares if it has an 8.1 camera. But this will never change the fact that it is better, get it? Or your limited brain still can't take it. Either say something useful or be quiet it's much better because the more you talk the more the readers realize how much shallow you are. Period

Facts and personal opinion are sure messed up in your head.

The point is not which phone is greater but it is about whether one device is complete in its own right or not...
X1 is a complete device and so is X2. If you say X2 is greater than X1 then its your personal opinion probably share by others but not the utter truth.

By the parameters with which you measure X1 is hardware based. There are several others for whom X1 seems to be a better deal.
Not everybody wants a 8Mp battery guzzler, memory guzzler, RAM guzzler device that is bound to get outdated within 6 months of releasing.
X2 is not a perfect device and neither is X1.
Almost all feature of X2 can be beaten by some other phone. You should better compare it with X10 or HD2 or Motorola Milestone etc.

I'm wondering why would anybody wants to be negatively involved in a discussion. Beats me. Why don't you go to the X2 forum?

Same with the x2 it's much greater than the x1. Just live with it will you. No offence dude, but if you were smarter you would have realized this your self. I mean come on I didn't mention a thing or two it was almost 10 things. The main difference between me and you is that I'm stating facts here while you are stating your personal opinion.

Refuting claims made hy SE.

Its still good enough

2- "X1 has a 3 mgpxl camera, while X2 has a 8.1 mgpxl..."
More megapixels means more memory requirement per image, more RAM requirement for viewing images, more costlier the phone, more foolish the buyer...

The difference in VGA and wide VGA (i.e. WVGA) is that WVGA is wide. Nothing like "which makes it the best video recording mobile after the Omnia HD!"
Its alright. Most Digital cameras still provide VGA video recording because its good enough.

One question. How is WinMo 6.5 so much better than WinMo 6.1? If you have a problem with WinMo 6.1 so will be with WinMo 6.5.

You need to get to know about xda developers. And about TV out I don't think anybody uses it i.e. if you go out you don't carry the TV out cable with you and if you're at home, use the camcorder.

Here we have a lonely soul that has wandered into the wrong direction.
And for the record, "well there is no difference between the X1 and the X2".

For all those naive, shallow and inexperienced people who keeps saying that the only advantage that the X2 has over the X1 is the stupid camera, well I have a good respond for you, check this out :

1- Although the X2 has the same processor as the X1, however, the X2's processor has a boost on it which makes it perform faster and better than the X1.

2- X1 has a 3 mgpxl camera, while X2 has a 8.1 mgpxl which makes a huge difference specially if you like to take a lot of photos.

3- X1 video recording is VGA and the quality is average. X2 on the other hand has a WVGA recording video, which makes it the best video recording mobile after the Omnia HD!

4- X1 has wm 6.1 and yes you may upgrade it to 6.5 but you may also have some problems with it. The X2 has already the wm 6.5 version and it functions very good on the device.

5- X2's keyboard is the best you could ever have on any mobile, so it makes typing and chatting much faster than the X1.

6- X2 has a better battery performance, the X2 is lighter in weight and also looks more stylish.

7- the X2 has a bigger screen 3.2 inch, whereas the X1 only has a 3 inch screen and the edges are not smooth as the x2.

8- X2 has more panels, has a tv-out and the device can support divx/xvid while the X1 lacks all these things together.

After all this said, next time any one posts a comment says well there is no difference between the X1 and the X2. I prefer he uses his brain a little bit to avoid making of himself a total laugh.

The price of this phone is extremely attractive.
At this price there is no other comparable phones.
Worth a few effort in changing cases later on...
