I can't believe a well established manufacture such as S.E. have designed this handset completely based on the i-phone.
I can't believe it looks exactly the same - same size, same weight, same screen -come on S.E. I would have thought your designers could have come up with something original.
How many more times will the i-phone be copied and imitated - this is a cheap imitation - no one will buy it.

Very interesting:
-Optical joystick navigation (how does that work?
-microSD card slot (wow, no memorystick?)
let's wait and see how long the battery lasts,
but nice phone up until now :)

Kudos to SE. My first SE was w300 after using nokia 4 years, Never used another brand since. SE just continues to blow away everyone else.This phone is the hottest thing out, Just love u guys.

Just waith to see the new Symbian OS phone from SE. new touch interface. OS 9.5 with UIQ 3.3. WiFi n. BT 2.1 EDR. HSDPA 7.2. 3 inch WGA resolution. Micro SD up to 32 GB...................

WHATEVER! Nokia are losers and SE RULES! new generation for Sony Ericsson! and I hope Nokia phone will not again copy this the design and features of this phone because Nokia phones are loosers!

Just becuase iphone has 16gb of memory, and a slightly bigger screen, it doesn't make it any better than the Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1.
Here are 7 reasons why.
1.Where is the microSD card slot?
2.Where is the Bluetooth?
3.Where is the 3G?
4.Why has it got really bad resolution considering it's 3.5"? the XPERIA is 3" and has 2x better resolution
5.Where is the QWERTY keyboard?
doing everything touchscreen is not always better!
6.Whats with a crap camera that doesn't even have autofocus?
7.Why does apple only have 1 phone? i mean they are all the same. Sony Ericsson now has over 10 top end phones that people would rather buy, as to buying iPhone.
I mean; you don't want everyone walking around with the same phone.
Now why don't you ask yourself. why would people prefer to buy a phone from Nokia or Sony Ericsson at the same price as iPhone, than rather buying the iPhone itself?

With this device being announced, Sony Ericsson is going to blast Nokia hard for this killer device. It has almost everything
Symbin os is nothing as compared with Windows Mobile os
Meanwhile, this phone was manufactuered by HTC

Although, I am nokia's fan. This fan looks quite promising. It has everything, good resolution, touchscreen, all connectivity options. It sounds too good to be true.

iphone killer. just hope they release it soon though. there's no need to make an iphone killer anymore, it's time to battle it out. it's sony ericsson's year! now nokia, samsung, lg and motorola all need to come up with a so-called Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1 Killer! lol

This is the most awaited phone people were looking for Sony Ericsson phone with Window's Operating system. I hope this would go down well as per the people's expectation.
This cell has got every thing all the Sony Ericsson lovers will get to work on Window platform. I am very eager to see Nokia launching a phone Windows Operating system.
After all these companies are major brand in the market and if they join hand with window they can only expect for better response from people. I am very happy to see this product in the market now main thing is to see about this cell phone is what would be the intial price of this product. I wish that price should be with my budget to buy this cell phone but it is bot very likely to happen.

Further to my first comment this phone will not sell well in the UK. why? Because no-one likes windows mobile except boring businessmen. People like ease of use and speed, which this one won't have.
