i love how the UI is little like the touch flo with huge buttons to select tasks .. only here they are not buttons but vistaesque previews of the apps etc.. brilliant ..

WM is such a flexible OS,you can do pretty much anything you like.It's not just an enterprise OS it's the bomb.This SE coupled with the OS really shoves,batters then laughs at little Symbian s60 and boring same again nokia handsets.

Finnaly, the phone i've been waiting for the last 2 years ! And it's got motion sensor, very important for when the upgrade fro wm7 comes, which makes great use of a motion senzor, if a phone has one !

hey if you read the article you will see in the pics that sony is placing this phone as an integration of the cyber-shot and walkman brands .. something we SE fans have wished for forever

This X1 will be equipped with Qualcomm cpu processor, running at 520Mhz speed.
Meanwhile, the graphics hardware acceleration will be included as well

Why is it that a great part of the comments over here is about which phone is better? Apparantly some of you already have had lots of experience with the Xperia X1, not? So, please share these experiences with the rest of us!
And if you have NOT had any experience in working with the X1, than PLEASE keep the based-on-nothing discussion about which phone (or brand) 'rules' for yourself. So we can keep this section interesting instead of boring...

GSM Arena have done well at short notice but there needs to be more info in the tech specs. What type of processor is used and its clock speed? Is the GPS receiver a SiRF Star III? What is the battery capacity? These are basic questions that need to be answered.
Note that Toshiba had the similar G900 and that flopped because of unreliable operation. SE better thoroughly test this device BEFORE release otherwise their name will be irreparably damaged.

the main buttom line is that SE rules and Nokia phones are loosers and Nokia fans won't accept thier defeat but try to look at their new models it lacks of many features and the design are so classic!

The X1 does not look like the Iphone. It looks a little bit like HTC tytn phones, but HTC has been making phone way before Apple even thought of making a phone.
So who is copying who?
In any case the X1 is not an Iphone clone/copy, and I would chose the X1 any day over the Iphone.
