Can you give details of where and when did you buy your phone? And in how much?
Seems like your phone is also the silver model, there are other reports and pics available and from all of them it seems that the silver model only suffers from this fault.
And by the way there are many many others that dont have this problem.
And can you suggest a similar phone that can be bought instead of this that you would buy? with WinMo and Qwerty.

just got one but when im loading it up and i want to send an text message it says, your phone is off....
rly sucks... xd and when i have to load it up, takes foreffer.
i did it one night and just had 2 striped battery...:S

Can anyone tell me how do i get files transferring by bluetooth directly on memory card and not on phone memory. I haven't checked much if the option is there.

Its almost a year now and There is not even a single crack on my xperia, I am not even using any type of case. and most of the it is out of my pocket and I heat it very much by long calls. There is no any problem.

The xperia x1 keyboard is kinda weird, especially the double space and the backspace. It double clicks even if I only clicked it once. My other two friends also experience the same problem with their xperias. Do you guys experience it too?

Can there be some clarifications about the case cracking issue by existing users?
I dont want to buy an expensive 8 MP X2.
From what I've read it seems the problem was specific and is not a general one.
But still can we have some clarifications by people who have used this phone for some time.

I'm confused between omnia and... moreno dont buy because its hardware quality is very low and start craking. for more detail go to google.com and serch there "xperia crack" i hope u found there answer.
all over world x1 set get craked and nothing is made by sony ericsson to fix it.

its simple answer is there is no official upgrade to 6.5. but unofficily x1 6.5 rom is availabe on web.. in my view donot upgrade your phone unofficialy because if it is unsucssesful ur product may damaged and void warranty. wait and watch 4 official update.
personly i want to know that when u have bought this expansive item.. chek for crack in baaatry compartment and near stylus region.

it has major designing defect up till now. x1 phones are constantly craking all over country. i m from india. i have bought a x1 phone just week ago and get cracked at battry compartment just 2nd day of purchase. i have reached the nearest service center and asking him that have u information about xperia crack they told me ..."NO" we havent recive such type of complain then i told him .. go to google search and just type : "xperia crack" result is in figure 1250000 web pages showing xperia crak in .31 sec.. one thing is that evry and each crack on mobile looks similar and same place and almost same type. the main region where x1 get cracked is
1. battry compartment
2. near volume controle
3. stylus region.
4 near camera lense
sony erricsion service center teling me that plastic case of phone not comes with warrynty so we cant do anything more. so u have to buy a new plastic case and also at this time we have nothing. so wait for some time with this faulty set and enzoy the xperia like costly set. but i m sure if there is no soltion for me then im not leaving sony ericson eaisly. after all this is not my or anyother xperia users fault. xperi are cracking even in normal and safe use. i m trully speeking.
in my view there are some points that why xperia is still cracking....
1. use of low quwality of plastic.which can not tollerate the heat genereted by processor.
2. faulty mechanical design of battry compartment which is not match with metal back cover. metals expand on heating and they exert pressure on hole designe.
so any one who are thinking to buy x1 please read it befor purchase and also search on googl,, what experts are saying.. now its all about xperia.. thanx a lot

I recently brought a sony xperia x1 but now i feel sad that i cant have zoom option if the camera is set to 3 mp mode and also the sound loudness is really low :(
