Jade, 10 Sep 2009I have new xperia, made in taiwan. the problem i am facing ... moreThis heat is because of using battery power so much.
As you know using wifi and gps and 3g is very power consuming. As the result the battery power gets low very quickly so it gets hot.
Don't be worry it's a usual thing for the battery.

I have new xperia, made in taiwan. the problem i am facing is that if i use 3G or Wifi the battery get so hot and warm.
And if i make a call on 3G using Fring, after 5 to 7 min the phone is so hot that its literally impossible to keep it on the ear. Even sometime i fear that it may explode due to so much heat.
Is it normal that xperia get so much heatup, or i fear there is some thing wrong with my set?

you just should choose any network you want in wifi section and tap on connect.
i have no idea about locking of uk orange because i don`t use that.

I currently own an xperia x1 and i love it......except for the fact that i cannot use the wifi or 3g. My theory on it is that it may still be locked to its previous network (vodafone UK) whereas I'm using Orange UK. My question is...would debranding solve this problem? Any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks.

even if you just know a little about mobile phones U understand that 800x480 pixels is the topest rate now available in the world
you need more pixels to have more quality and colors are not that important
at this pixel rate THERE IS NOT ANY MORE COLORS AVAILABLE NOW
if you want just say something that show yourself to the others please read some phone specifications first
Which F***ing phone do you recomend with more colors and less pixels instead of this amazing phone?

Urgenttttttttttttttt, 06 Sep 2009I installed an application to my new Xperia X1 and suddenly... morewell my friend, just happen to me, i download this application (manila black something for touch flo and key board, after that, my phone fucked up, i been reboot it many time, still not working, it stress me out.... so theres one thing i can do.....
Reprogram and start all over again, very quick he just reset it, reprogram everthing, back to normal just like when i first bought it, atleast that application was gone, what a big relief... yes my phonebook was gone and other panels that i download, but i have all the copy for that before they fix it....
so one thing you can do, is to reprogram.... im telling, you can breath again..
for that im very careful now, and remember x1 is a mobile computer, easy to get virus...

i have my xperia now for a week,i must say its a good business/mobile/computer phone... touch screen is good....
i hope i can update it to 6.5 just like x2 and ill just wait for that.... im not in hurry but im hoping tho.... for a moment, i love my xperia...
i dont want to compare it to other phones coz i been using different brands...
enjoy your phone and dont abuse it like a toy...

I installed an application to my new Xperia X1 and suddenly it start freezing, when i reeboot it the phone it alaways freeze on the startup secreen of windows mobile .
any Help resolving this problem please ?????

I intend to purchase a X1 to facilitate my works during travelling. However, my concern is whether X1 can work with Lotus Notes or not. Would you pls advise me about this concern by return asap? Especially, I would appreciate highly who has experienced X1 with lotus notes.

The set is good in many aspects, the only bad thing is it get so hot if u you make long calls, or use wifi / 3G. some time its so hot that you cannot put it on the ear.
I am using the one manufactured from Taiwan, i will like to hear if other pplz faced such problem?
