Hi, (Xperia X10) and Today I updated to 2.3.3 after that (Vtok) Software not install please help me. The market said it’s not for Experia X10 but Before the upgrading 2.1 it work very nice.

Arlen, 05 Aug 20111-after u updated to 2.3 version . the LCD quality still 65... morethe LCD quality is hardware related, hardware issue or upgradation cannot be done through software upgrade

Waterway, 06 Aug 2011Can anyone help me i cannot update to 2.3 gingerbread curre... moreI also was not able to update my rooted X10 running on optimized 2.1 using PC Companion (don't know if the optimization has something to do with it), PC Companion kept giving me a "phone software update information currently not accessible" notice everytime I connect my X10 to my laptop. I finally decided to download and install update service instead and I finally got 2.3.3 on my X10. Update was smooth and without problems. Just follow the onscreen instructions. As a precaution, I turned off windows auto update, firewall, antivirus and used an ethernet cable instead of wifi just to make sure nothing interrupts the update. Try using update service to update your X10 to 2.3.3, you don't need to uninstall PC Companion. Hope that helps!:-)

liviu_s_007, 05 Aug 2011I have the same problem.no light after the update.any ideeas?Fortunately, after few reboots of my X10 after the update, I've already got the NOTIFICATION light flashing already everytime there is something in my Notification (e.g. miss call, text, etc, etc).

Hi People with the flash light app problem. As stated in the market, try using the same app for the xperia Arc. I have and it works fine..

Can anyone help me i cannot update to 2.3 gingerbread currently running 2.1, i tried updating using PC Companion it did detect the update but got an error message "Installation Error unable to install or start phone software update components" while preparing the update. i tried to uninstall and re installing PC Companion, downloaded the software directly from the website and just now and did a Factory Reset on my phone but to no avail =( anyone here having the same issue? i need help thank you! by the way i am in the Philippines

Anonymous, 04 Aug 2011update is already available in the Philippines! great job SE! :)Hi Im from Manila and i Just updated my x10 this morning.
notice 2 prob so far...
1.) the flashlight app "XPERIA Flashlight/Widget" does not work.
only for the widget but it works when you run the service test (*#*#7378423#*#*) or activate the photolight.
2.) the "speak text" msg option from my handcent SMS app also does not work. checked the settings and install the voice data from the "text to speech settings" but cant find it from the android market or the language pack associated to is cant be found
i would appreciate if someone will respond back on how to fix the prob or can you recommend at least 10 apps that should be installed to my x10 to achieve its full potential/maximize it use.

akshay, 04 Aug 2011i already get latest pc companion on my xperia x10.. whn i ... moreconnect your phone and go to the sussport button and click repair and then pc companion will tell you that there is a new soft version for your phone.that's what I did and it worked just fine
