OK guys, I just heard from a site that there would be no updates for the Android OS on the X10 :(
I mean c'mon SE this is necessary, the current Android (1.6) just sucks!

sony ericsson can not do anythink until the x10 get updated to android 2.1 but if the try to release a better android than x10 before q4 the x10 promotion will die and no one will buy x10 again everyone will go for x11 or x12. now we must learn that the lastest os is very important i agree se made big mistake now moto and htc have a lot of android 2.1 in the market. but we can not reply. i m disappointed.

I have been using this phone for 5 days now and I'm hugely impressed with the phone. It has fantastic responsive 4" touch screen and Android OS is great. Not the best yet but I think it will soon to be the best smartphone OS. It has great browser which is very fast and easy to use. But it has few issues. 1. Poor battery life 2. Timescape is disappointing to use. 3. Only Android 1.6 (this should be resolved when 2.1 is available in Q4 2010). Overall I'm hugely satisfied with the phone and I'm glad that I have switched from iPhone 3G.

I had a similar problem transfering pictures n music from my n97 to the x10, thankfully someone replied me,

First set ur internet connection, if its already set, go to menu select market and then search for a program called file explorer, then I hope u will be able to find the files u sent through ur pc, but for me the x10 doe not support the real player music format which I sent from my n97 dont know what else I need to download to get it opened, but atleast I see the files now and the pictures can be opened

                          7 Days Reviews:-
                          Pros:-
                          Light Weight.
Wide touch screen with good sensors.
1 Ghz processor gives ultimate performance.
                          Screen resolution is too good.

                          Cons:-
Good screen resolution consumes more battery power.
Battery backup is too bad. Normal standby time which I am getting is 5 hrs and talk-time is about 2 hrs.
Heat-up problem with battery (while charging.

hime, 12 May 2010i knw can download some software to extend the battery life... moreum... what theme?

you mean the 'Open Home' app?

or the settings of your wallpaper?

Juice Defender hasn't (well... for me at least) affected anything except my APN settings (i'm using free.. Wi-Fi, i've manually turned off.. i've already got 3g w/ 12gig bundled free so i don't need the Wi-Fi..)

by the way... this morning i posted battery life right?
well now battery is still 10hours 44mins left @ 100% accuracy this time (juicy plot)

facebook constantly updating and i've received most of my personal mails on the phone... listened to mp3 music all through the lunch hour..

                                    it's now 1700hrs (5:00pm locally) and 10hours left!^_^

so.. there.. for those who've whined constantly about battery life... =P

Logan, 12 May 2010OK all those people who already own the phone (including me... moreone iphone user here in the office said my X10 is big..but in a surprised grudgingly admiring way...LOL!

most were suprised by the weight when they held it... guess they were expecting it to be heavy what with the size and all... also by the thickness.. looks thick but when held, feels thin (due to curve probably).

for a screen this size? how else could they have done it? i don't mind the size... it's thankfully narrower than HTC HD2.. now that one is BIG.
