Dont be fooled by the other comments here. I personally have been using the x2 for months now. I can consider myself as one of the first to have this phone and I can honestly say that before the update this phone has alot of problems (phone freezes after turning on the wifi, slow movement, radio still factory lock) BUT after the update everything is working well. I dont understand what the others are saying that the phone is still the same. Maybe they dont really have the x2 in their hands. I have enjoyed this phone since the update everything is running smoothly. so its up to you to decide who to believe and who is lying here..

I had problems with my xperia x2 after upgrade to the newest software on 05.04.2010 with every possible program but when I removed storage card and everything was O.K.. Then I deleted everything from my storage card and put back some files in my folders the phone work like new. I use SPB shell and slidewiew and tile wave and every thing is working superb.

im using X2, but i didnt find it the best phone. it had only 10 days back i buy the X2 and its 3 times i update the software of the mobile becz of some slideview.exe error, which is not rectified yet, ringing sound is very less u not able to here, battrry backup is very less not last even 1 day, take 3 hrs to charge, when opening the slider screen takes time to moves vertical or doesnt moves, i totaly disappoint with my selection and also im not getting the resale price thts why not able to sell it:-(
i dont suggest u to buy this phone and waste ur money.
dont know much abt N97, bt heared tht it also not tht much gud, so better survey abt it.

The... morehi SE 2010, i want to add somthing in it, i also uses the same phone, but my battry life is very less. even it doesnt last for 1 day, and it take almost 3 hrs ro fully charge the mobile, even i doesnt speek much, around 1 hr daily and not using any internet or any other applications all of the time... plz suggest me.

thanx for ur help, i will surely do this today by removing the MicroSD card then chk and tell u wht happen.
One thing more eya, did u buy a new memory card or u format that same card and use it in ur mobile??
i also have battry problm dear, it doesn;t last even 24 hrs, i have to charge the mobile somethimes twice a days, even my calling is not more then 1 hr daily. and also the mobile take 2.5 to 3 hrs for full charging. Is it normal ??? or my mobile have some battry problems.

I have currently gotten the Sony Ericsson Satio after my X1 has broke. Compare to the X1 & x2 even tho the X2's function is very approved but I'm disappointed at the x2's design. I must say the Satio is a great phone expect the battery which isn't so long lasting.

After MR1 update, everything was the same ---> alot bugs, freeze and memory card was unresponsive..., then i change microSD to a new (u can change from other device), all problems gone.

[deleted post]Satio has a better and higher sound, and in the meantime it seems that the best choice for you is the Satio, because it's doing the best among the three devices you mentioned Earlier. So if I were you my choices would be as following:
1- Satio
2- Vivaz
3- Xperia X2
I still believe the X2 is the best among them if it had a stable and reliable software, so I will still wait and let's see if anything changes.

It still seems that some customers are happy with the new update and have no problems with it. So please if anyone tried the latest update from SE and is happy with it, let him share his experience with us. I mean I think it's only fair if we share the good and the bad side here. Showing the negative side alone is no good for anyone. My opinion is that the X2 has a brilliant hardware and finishing, it only needs a reliable and stable software to make it one of the most competitve devices in the market today. I don't care it doesn't have a 1 Ghz CPU, this device totally rocks and it's full of potential, all we want is a reliable software that's it! Please SE do it, your tag is make.believe and we want to see you make it in order for us to believe it. We will still support you and not turn our backs on you, in the time of need, but you also respect us and help us be by your side.
